Hey bros. The last 1.5 days, my left arm(along the bottom part of the tricep) is pulsing a lot. I can feel it kinda spasm. It only happens every once in a while, and only for a few seconds at a time. Anyone have any idea what the hell this is?

Is it just a brief muscle contraction? Does it cause any pain or correspond to your pulse? If the answer to the first question is yes, and the answer to the second is no, then what you have is a twitch. All that means is that a bundle of fibers are firing spontaneously. It will happen to most people in their lives, and can be caused by caffeine, stress etc. In an otherwise healthy person without other significant signs or symptoms it means absolutely nothing. If you start getting numbness or tingling, go see a doctor. Otherwise, save your time and money. Now here's my disclaimer: as with all medical conditions, you should consult a qualified medical practitioner. Hope this sets your mind at ease. Peace!

I get these once in awhile, sometimes out of the blue they just happen. But most of the time right after I get my shots my tri will quiver once in a while involentarily. I know this may not be your case,[ after getting a shot] but I'm just saying its never hurt me and I still get them every now and then so I don't really think its much to be worried about, unless you in pain.

Thanks guys.
No, there is no pain associated with the twitches. I talked to a buddy of mine tonight. He also said he feels like sensation sometimes

I agree with Dr. Atlas. Its probably just a over excitable innervating muscle nerve. Sometimes they can last a day or two. Ive had them around my eye, leg and back. The one in my back lasted for a few days. You could actually watch my shirt move as I stood there.

I get those sometimes especially after a week of heavy lifting. I get them in my arm and quads. I just figured they were from lifting
