For all you avid show men. Whats the best method of hair removal. Damn, there has to be a better way than the razor blade. It destroys my skin. I cant stand the raw and irratated patches it leaves behind. Has anyone tried the lazer procedure? I heard some time ago that a pharmaceutical company had developed a topical cream which resulted in the complete cessation of hair growth. It claimed to be currently under FDA approval. Has anyone else heard of such a product. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

The Mach3 razor is pretty sweet, very kind to the skin, although somewhat expensive. I know a bro who swears by his "epilady", that thing with the rotating metal coil that just rips hair out; not for the sqeamish. I don't know much about the laser treatment. Home electrolysis products exist, but apparently can only zap 10 hairs an hour or so. I'm interested, so bump this up! ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Ive also seen several enzymatic formulas out on the market derived from plants. The claim that if you apply this liquid base material after waxing both the rate and density of hair growth is lessened. After several weeks of this the hair is suppose to stop growing in completely or be so baby fine that you cant even notice. The question is: 1. Does it even work, and 2. does a months supply cost as much as a new car payment. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I was the one who posted about the cream. It is called "vanqui" and I haven't heard anything recently. For perm removal I am going through laser removal and it seems to be working---although I am not that bad. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Guys, I did a search on the net on this subject a while back. I even found a discussion board where they talk about hair removal. And after looking through hundreds of posts, you know what I found works...nothing. The only actual way to permanently remove hair (so far) is electrolysis. From what I read there, pretty much anything else is just temporary removal, even laser treatment. Sucks but with all this technology, we still can't get rid of unwanted hair permanently and we can't stop MPB, only slow it down. trust me, I have looked everywhere. I even tried that Nad's crap and it hurt worse than it would to jab myself with a dull needle a hundred times. The shit hurts bad. So, it's either razor or electrolysis. And even the electrolysis takes about a year's worth of treatments to work permanently. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

The 'ole razor is all that will work, unless you've got $1000s to spend on electolysis like Maverick said...it sucks, but you get used to it! ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
