Lots of people on this board talk about going to the doctor to get blood work done. I belong to an hmo and am afraid that if they can tell I've been doing anabolics they will cancel me. Any advice on doctor experiences would be appreciated. thanks    | ||

Your doc and you have a thing called doctor patient priv. which doesnt allow him to talk to anyone about you without your permission. Also your doc want the insurance check and really doesnt care about anything else(except you). Talk to your doc mine like that I can talk to him  | ||

Be sure to tell him you dont want the fact you use anabolics put on your chart. He wont do it if you dont want it...reason being is that your medical charts are your charts..if someone else in authority wanted to veiw them for any other situation, it would be right there in black and white.. That is what freaks me out about my doctor. The last time I was talking to her about my drinking habbits she was writing it down and I asked her not to. She kept writing and said that nobody would ever see it. But that is not to true. | ||

Condemn her to eternal damantion, jebus. No, why not switch docs if thats an option, at least let her know that you will if she doesnt respect your feelings for privacy. (almost all) Docs are in it for the money, tell her shell lose a customer and shell act right, if all else fails curseth her first born. DON'T tell your Doc NOTHING they don't care what you think they will jot notes and the insurance comp will do a APS and get your file IT WILL BE DOCUMENTED A WISE MAN KEEPS HIS MOUTH SHUT.... | ||

If its written into your medical charts it becomes a record. Anymore doctor write down everything just to protect thier asses. You can't really blame them. So when they ask about smoking and shit I just don't answer. Yeap I used to but no way am i going to let my insurance provider get a look at it. All the provider has to do is request your records. When you signed on with them one of the waivers was probably to your records. Why do I say this my life insurance went up twenty bucks a month because I said I smoke an occasional cigar to my doc when I had a sinus problems. Then the assholes gave me a discount latter for great blood work - I don't get it. Oh well hope it helps. | ||
