I've got a good friend who is using Humalog Insulin with Mind boggling results! He claims that the "R" version of Insulin just makes him fat. Anyone else out there using Humalog?

It's just faster acting than the Humilin R version, shouldn't have any better/worse effects from what I've read...but who knows, I've never used the stuff...my 2 cents is in the bucket!

Humalog has approximately the same glucose disposal capability except that its onset is 5-15 minutes instead of 30 and the duration is shorter. HUMALOG CANNOT be purchased like regular insulin -its an Rx.
