Got a sore throat from the sust. That went away. Thought everything was cool, but now i think i have a cold. Should I keep lifting hard as hell, or tone it down a bit? Ive heard both ways, but would like some more opinions.

I have had a viral respitory infection all week and still do. I set a pr on my deadlift today with the help of the sinus infection from hell. If you think your face looks bad on anadrol, you should see how swollen my cheeks are. Fucking scary! Anyway, just lift through it. Probably clear you up a bit.

Does having a cold hinder your ability to recover? Does it weaken you?

I HEARD NOT TOO TRAIN.. IT WILL TRASH YOU AND YOU WILL NOT RECOVER AS QUICK AND AS MUCH...
YOUR BODY IS ALREADY WEAK.. REST... UNLESS YOU ARE JUST SLIGHTLY SICK? THEN TRAIN, YOU WILL FEEL BETTER! (OR GET WORSE)

nutrimuscle:

I think that when your body has to use some of its resources to fight off an infection, it's bound to show up in the gym, in being a bit weaker and being slower to recover. Despite that, Omega is right. "Just train, man." I always do, and I believe that the physiologic rush I get from lifting helps me shed the infection a bit faster.

i am currently sick with some type of bacteria in the system i.e. green excretions from respiratory system. i too have experience ungodly strength in the gym. try taking lots of vitamin c, i usually take up to ten thousand milligrams per day. its a water soluble vitamin so a toxicity is highly unlikely as long as u drink plenty of water. works for me anyhow.

i cant believe none of you know this one! every mens fitness magazine i got for a whole year(subscription) had an article on this, same info with a new pic, its the reason i cancelled, it insulted my intelligence to read the same thing every month! anyway, if its symptoms above the neck, youre fine, but any symptoms below the neck hold off for a few days, if its just a sore throat go nuts
