It was great to meet with you guys and Tamara last night at the restaurant! Bro's, Retabolil and Vovan are good guys, serious and knowledgeable. A great exchange of information and mutual concerns (the subject of a different, more serious post, so keep your heads up!). It was cool! There we were for 3 hours in that noisy, crowded restaurant, passing amps back and forth across the table, comparing blisters, doing crush tests on the table! :) Again, nice to meet you fellows! Hi Dexter! It was a great pleasure to meet with you and Tamara. BTW I`m going to show that crush test results to Dima today. Oh! I got an idea! Maybe I should crush test his head too? J/k And check your e-mail box. Huck, congratulations. You are a guru! But the date is sucks - friday 13!
Elite Bodybuilder Posts: 985 |
It's true, Bro's. Vovan is right: I smoke cigarettes (didn't touch one until I came to Russia, where practically everybody -- except serious bodybuilders like Vovan and Retabolil -- smokes). And all those amps and vials and blisters got me so excited, well, I needed a few beers to calm me down. :) Yes, Retabolil, I like the crush test idea. Please give Dimotchka my best regards first! Got your mail. You should have mine. Dexter ------------------

quote: awesome, that you had this opportunity, bros. damn....next time invite Pharm A to your AMPFEST!!! LOL ------------------
Elite Bodybuilder Posts: 985 |
Hey Pharm Animal. Sure! Gee, we should make this a regular event, sort of an informal Russian Juice Association get together. All serious bro's welcome, though. Smokers and drinkers included, naturally (so to speak). :) Hmmm. Maybe we should even form a non-profit association. No. On second thought, that might antagonize the fucking monopolistic AAS syndicate here... Dexter ------------------
Amateur Bodybuilder Posts: 134 |
That syndicate really sucks... It's makes me feel depressed. But we gonna working out this problem, aren't we?! As you have already said - let's keep the heads up gentlemen!

awwwwww, its so heartwarming to hear about a bunch of bro's getting together and discussing gear. next time it'll be in warsaw right dex?
Elite Bodybuilder Posts: 985 |
HeHe. That's an idea. Yeah...sort of like a "floating crap [dice] game." :) I really enjoyed meeting you in Warsaw in August. Maybe we could get some other Eastern European bro's together, too. That would be cool. But I won't be taking any 1998 Akrikhins with me, especially pass that diabolical Belarus customs! Dexter ------------------

You bros from Eastern Europe should open some kind of a Club Med for bodybuilders with all you can eat D-bols, A-bombs and open bar of Omna, Deca, etc...you guys would be in business...nice to see your meet went well...should have been something...
Elite Bodybuilder Posts: 673 |
Dexter,Vovan,Retabolil, Being that you guys are either over in Poland or Russia/Ukraine what does a person pay for gear (DBols, deca, cyctahoh's, Omna's,ect). Also (not that I am going there-YET,lol) how do you buy your stuff. Is it OTC or is it like it was in the US in the prior to 1990 where the stuff wasnt controlled like a narcotic and shit was diverted like mad and sold openly in gyms, ect? Also is it true that an Omna in Poland costs less than $1.00? I heard they were 25 cents to 50 cents and amp. Sorry but thats fascinating to me just like a San Diegans trips to TJ are to someone in far from the Mexican border are. ------------------

Fish, first of all, you couldn't possibly be excluded. You're too good of a bro. You're always welcome. By the way, I was sort of wondering if you'd still be hanging out here, since you're all starry-eyed in love and whatnot. :) bud, like the Club Med idea. Hmmm, maybe Club Royd. Shirts and shoes required, though. And obnoxious imposters are kindly excused. :) And you'll see some of the foxiest babes you could ever imagine. Real beauties. Kneepads, it depends on a lot of things. Gear is generally very cheap in the Eastern European countries and in Russia. Sort of Economics 101: Cheaper to manufacture, and purchasers who don't have a lot of money (in proportion to the supercharged economies). Price really depends on where you get it: the pharmacy or from a "supplier" who basically gets it from the loading dock of the factory. In most countries of the former Soviet Union and Warsaw Pact, gear is considered medicine. While technically requiring a doctor's prescription for most gear, for example, I can go to a pharmacy and purchase Dutch Organon Sustanon250, no problem. Or, in fact, a variety of other drugs that are definitely scheduled in the west. Moreover, the public just perceives gear here differently. Keep in mind that in the Cold War days, the Soviet Union and other Eastern Union countries practically made a science out of steroids for athletes (went way too far, in my opinion, based on stuff being revealed in Germany). And it's still considered pretty normative that athletes use gear -- but now they just have to be more careful to get around drug testing restrictions. Dexter P.S. Day 1 of my Akrikhin guinea pig cycle.

Well, Huck, you'll definitely get the real results. Last time it took about 10 days, as I recall -- genetics, I guess -- to start seriously feeling the pump. We'll see. I'll keep in touch. Dexter ------------------

hey dexter you said you "came to Russia". Where are you from and why do you live there. Also how is living there? Just curious...
Elite Bodybuilder Posts: 985 |
Hehe. Fener, I first came to Russia in 1992, on the invitation of a Lieutenant General of the former KGB. He had this idea to commercialize a part of the satellite capacity they use for command and control of the Strategic Rocket Forces (that was back in the good old days when everybody was privatizing and commercializing state assets)! That idea sucked, but I met some cool people in the process, went back to the U.S., pulled together a couple of million in investment money, and started and headed a telcommunications business here. Been living here since 1993. Made big bucks; lost big bucks. Expanded the business. Married and divorced a stunning fashion model. Businesses got whacked during the financial meltdown of August 1998. Businesses got taken over by some predatory new investors. Dex got fed up and left his great job and 550 great employees in five companies. Now Dex, well, spends time at the gym -- and watches his former companies (and stock value) going down the toilet under "new management." :) Dexter ------------------

therealj, it's all true. And, believe it or not, Russia has been a pretty normal period of my wild and wacky life. Rather placid, really, even with new business, the awful and corrupt bureaucracy, the mafia, the former KGB, ruthless competitors with whom one must deal severely with, etc. But it hasn't been dull! Second day of my "laboratory animal" test of that 1998 Akrikhin D-bol. I'm sick to my stomach; maybe it was bad food from last night, we'll see. Going to go to bed now, and it's about 6:00 PM here. :( Dexter ------------------

Luke, I appreciate your humor. And unlike with our online chats, believe it or not, I'm actually not shitfaced. In fact, I haven't touched anything but water today (can't hold anything down, anyway). Good night, you rascal. Dexter ------------------ |
