Does domestic mail get searched? I know that domestic mail isn't screened as rigorously as int'l, but how safe is it really?

post office is way to busy to scan every package. ups and fed ex are more risky as they require signatures. post office has tracking on priority mail with no signature. either way its illegal to send drugs in the mail and if you do get caught your fucked. learn the rules that apply to safety and go from there

Customs, feds, scammers - I'm beginning to think the risk is just too great no matter which way you look at it.

I personally dont know anyone who has had problems with domestic priority packages. If your guy is smart, and packages right I dont think you have much to worry about...

ONLY IF IT SHAKES, RATTLES OR TICS.
AND EVEN THEN TO MANY PACKAGES TO CHECK
VERY SAFE TO SEND DOMESTIC

It isn't all that bad lpw. The USPS can't open your mail without a warrant issued by a Fed. judge and based on probable cause. Unless you are bigtime, this isn't happening on your personal domestic supply. Fedex and the others are under no such restrictions, however, and actively scan, dog, open and inspect, etc., especially since they (fedex) got caught with their pants down on that nasty heroin shipping scandal. They are private companies operating under a contract with you that allows them to do this. International shipments do get seized occasionally, but generally, you will just lose the gear, again, unless you are bigtime.
Best bet - order small and domestic.

Thanks guys. The reason I'm concerned is because I ordered int'l before and got a customs letter. It scared the crap out of me -- at least enough to make me think that ordering int'l isn't so safe. Also, I figure that my name is flagged by customs, but I don't know if this will cause a problem with domestic mail.

I have never had any real problems getting gear in or around the country...As long as you remeber the rules, keep your mouth shut about what you are doing, and never get greedy.

Remeber: loose lips sink ships!

I just keep to myself, never share sources or info with anyone...
