Hell Yah, it is all i use...I found using 1 1/2 inch makes my shoulders to sore!! Good luck... | ||

you could use a 1/2" inch needle..whats more important is the gauge of the pin..as long as it's 23,22 or so your fine providing....there isn't a lot of fat in your injection site(glute)...for delt or quad injections it's more than fine ------------------ | ||

If i mixed deca/sust (2cc total) could I use a 21 gauge 1.5in for the shoulder, or is that too big? | ||

Could cause scar tissue but I have used 20 gauge before when I ran out of 22's If you can find somthing a tad smaller I would! | ||

It depends where you are injecting. 1" is perfect for quads, but won't work well for glutes, and unless you have huge shoulders you should be careful using that long of a needle for your delts. The gauge of the needle doesn't really matter too much. I personally believe 23g is the best, it's small enough to cause minimum scare tissue, but large enough to pass oil based fluids through it. I shot my deca with a 23 gauge x 1.0 Terumo. Right into the delt. I think the 1.5 is a little too large for delts. | ||

I'd agree with EMT. He also says that 1" is only really OK for delts in someone with 'Huge Delts' and I use 1 1/4 in mine so that means mine must be 'F*CK'IN MASSIVE'. I am happy now! hehe |
