i've been on equipoise and test for about a couple of months. at first i put on 20lbs. but over the last two weeks instead of gaining i've lost 2lbs.
my workouts suck, i am totally unmotivated, tired, nauseous, and i actually fear going it to train. i've been trying to push myself every time i go in and i guess i am finally worn out. what should i do?
should i take a week off? get off the juice for a while? go on a cutting cycle? or just increase my dosage?
i would appreciate any advice, i don't feel very good about myself.

Poor Baby.....

Now this is one intelligent post. Many write about how excited they get when they get on the juice, but some including myself go through just what you are going through now.

It is HARD!! You just sit and think and wonder what the hell is going on. Right now, though you are going through a typical stage. After a couple of months, as you say you have been on, most people gets the blues, I (don't quote or flame me) but I think that it has a lot to do with the emotional shifts A.S. has on you. Remember, roid rage is not the only emotion you can experience.

I would love to hear from some mods and vets on this matter because it has happened to me on more than one occassion.

What I always did was just take a few days off, relax, go somewhere, spend time with the other half in my life, and then storm back into the gym the next week. Remember, although A.S. greatly increases your recoverability times, you are still putting a lot of stress on your system, not just in the gym but your body is also coping with the new weight it has put on.

Hope this helps bro,
Jae

Just treat it as a short sign of overtraining and everything should be alright.

How many days do you train. What is your diet like? Sounds like severe overtraining.Do you eat every 2 hours like you should? If not, your body will not get adequate nutrition to help you recover from one workout to the next.Take 2 or 3 days off and focus on anything but the weights. When you start back, try an every other day routine i.e. day on day off day on day off etc.Leave your workouts at the gym.On training days you will be hungry to get in the gym.On days off, take a nap and get another hobby to keep your mind off the weights. This should keep the fires burning.

Yes, this is a good thread indeed. This is a very good reason why people should have atleast a solid year of hitting the gym hard and paying their dues. It's easy to get motivated and hit the gym when you're on juice, psycholigically and physically. If you've already put your time in at the gym when you weren't on juice, it's easier to make this transition. I'm sure this is a good reason why some people stay on.

Anyways, I hope a lot of newbies read this thread and BUMP THIS BITCH TO THE TOP FOR A WHILE- this is more important than a lot of stuff on here.

My suggestion to you is this: STOP BEING A LITTLE BITCH! I know it sounds harsh but damn, that's the attitude you need to have. Keep in mind that your endurance, strength, and recovery times will go down. You won't be weaaker than what you were before you cycled, so know that it is a process where you make a few steps forward, and make a couple steps back- but you are making progress. If it was easy, then everyone would be big. Keep hitting it hard bro, take a couple days off to build your motivation.

thanks for your replies. jae - i don't have another half in my life! (more of a reason to be depressed, huh?).

i feel like i'm overtraining, yes, but i really don't think that's what it is since i'm only training hard four days a week. i do eat every three hours but my diet hasn't been all that clean.

Sittin' On Diesel - i know you get depressed and weak when you come off of steroids, but i'm not off! i'm actually taking quite a bit - 1300mg a week, that's why i can't figure out why the hell i'm so depressed and tired.

Get pissed!

I deal with these feelings alot. My family and friends with few exceptions, frown on my body-building efforts. Most folks at the gym think Im a nut too so I dont get any outside support for what I do.

How do I stay motivated? I love the way women look at me. I love the way assholes avoid pissing me off. I love the way it feels to lift a shitload of weight. I love to grow.

When I dont feel like freakin animal I get pissed and tell myself: I want to be fucking huge and I dont have time for any bullshit. If this shit was easy everyone would do it. Get your ass in the gym!

My favorite line before my set: easy fuckin weight!!!!!!! Gets me pissed at the weight and focused every time!

I think the reason you are not growing is because your receptors are down gradded from being on the gear for 2 months. Once they are saturated you will not respond on the same amount of gear. You said your gains were good at first, then they slowed down and actually started reversing. This is a sure sign.

Of course you could take more and more as some people do but your gains would still be limited. Take some time off bro. Taper down slowly if you are on 1300g a week and try some hcg/clomid to help you hold onto your size. Sure you'll loose some weight, but then you'll come back on your next course bigger and stronger than before as you will respond to the gear much better again.

It's the same with most drugs. If you drink alcohol all the time you build up a tollerence and need more and more to get drunk. You stop drinking for a while and then the next time you drink you don't need as much to get drunk. Same thing with gear.

The reason you are depressed is because you are taking fairly large amounts with no gains and so you feel as though its something you are doing wrong. You start to feel that it's your own fault and it's poor genetics or something. The emotional changes brought on by the AS as mentioned earlier won't help either. You are gonna feel pretty shitty if you do come off though but just keep focussed on the future and think all the time how massive you are gonna get on your next course after a break of say six weeks or so. Like another bro said to take one step forwards you've gotta take a couple back. Hope this helps bro.

Increase your complex carbs...take some St. Johns Wort...Take a few days off....Then get a belly-optomy!!!

What is that you say????

It's where they install a see-through glass in your belly....this way you can see where your going cause you got your head up your ass!!!!

Heh heh heh heh heh....Just kidding Bro...Happens to all of us at one time or another...Sus is somewhat known for playing with our emotions....Test can be some strange stuff....you'll snap out of it Bro!!!!

last night i snapped some muscle or ligament near my knee while i was doing legs. hurts like a bitch and now i'm limping; so i'm going to take this chance to take three days off, then take some ephedrine and hit the gym again.

Best thing you can do.....One thing I like to do, is watch some skinny fuck jumping from one machine to another with no set routine...you know the type....motivates me because he is showing weakness.....weakness is pain, which is formed within the dreamscape of our minds eye, and exits from our body!!!
