i 'd like to know what you brosthink is the ideal dose of finasteride for 500mg test a week. I have access to 1g tabs (propecia) very expensive, and to 5mg tabs cheaper. Also if split up one 5 mg tab is the dosage to take daily or eod. Thanks for the info    | ||

get a pill cutter and split into 4th...every 7th day take a wjole while on...when off just use 1/4 a day...also get 500 MG saw palmetto and take once a day...  | ||

hey bb i'm not taking it when off cause i'm not going bald for now. it is only to prevent. Still the same dosage for 10 weeks only? What is the saw palmetto for? i mean prostate is already protected by finasteride right? | ||

Just a reminder. Alot of people are not aware that finasteride causes a serve reduction in sex drive and has been known to cause impudents. Just food for thought peace. [This message has been edited by aten8 (edited October 10, 2000).] | ||

I don't think youll have a problem with your sex drive with the test helping you out. Dont take the finasteride with deca, and just take it every day, split the 5mg tabs into thirds (I just bite them off in 3rds). Stuff really helps with test, keep the prostrate running smoothly too! Slopain | ||

you will be fine with the sex drive...it effects less than 2% of men and it is only temporary...with the test you will be plenty horny... saw palmetto is good for hair loss prevention...i have more hair than i did one year ago...saw palmetto is cheap and it is said to help prevent othe aromitizing problems with test...it is real cheap insurance...www.newhopemed.com has some great info about it... | ||

I cut the 5mg's into 4 1.25mg's and take 1 a day along with saw palmetto & 500mg durateston (sust)a week, starting week 3 and no sexual or hair sides to speak of, just 9 lbs of muscle, no water weight or gyno probs at all so far. Adding the primo @ 200mg week starting next week. ------------------ | ||

Beefmaster and Slopain, Are you guys genetically predisposed to MPB? Or do you just want to be on the safe side? I wish more people who are prone to hairloss (mpb) could answer this question from their personal experience. Yuckon | ||

OK- I have a SERIOUS problem with hairloss!! My dad and brother both were TOTALLY bald by age 22.I'm 28 and have been on and off juice for over 6 yrs.I take 1/4 Proscar every day when on , and 1/4 EOD when clean.I have used over 1000mg. of test per week with NO hairloss.To understand how good it works for me,get this: I went to jail for a little over a month this past winter.I was on at the time(crash sucked) and my hair fell out in clumps w/o the finasteride.I mean it made me depressed,and was noticeable to my wife-she is a hairdresser.When I went back to the Proscar it stopped falling out and some filled back in.Hope this helps  J | ||

Im not especially prone to mpb that I know of, i take it as insurance, its easy to keep when you got it, once its gone its hard to get back. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure..or however that saying goes. Slopain |
