I haven't noticed a mass exodus to the other board. Has anyone else??? I think people have calmed down about it and everything is back to "normal". (Until school lets out again) | ||

no, alot of people arent here anymore. We traded tons of newbies who love to post topics instead of reading in for the knowledgable people on the board who have went elsewhere - or at the very least DO NOT POST NEARLY AS MUCH AS THEY USED TO. Its hard to blame them, the board lost respect for the vets. Newbies demanding that people help them without reserching. If this seems bitter its because it is, alot of knowledge has left - hopefully they will be back, who knows. What makes a board good isn't the amount of people on it, rather it is the quality of knowledge communicated." Slopain | ||

I agree. If you are a newbie, this board is paradise. If you are a vet it sucks. There has been nothing new said here in a long time. I have no desire to answer newbie questions anymore because they are getting lazier and lazier as the days go by. 90% of the vets are on annex boards now. All my new ideas go on those boards..... | ||

I've said this before but the most valuable part of this website is not any of the boards. It is the search. That database filled with all the knowledge that has ever been contributed here by a dream team of AAS experts is priceless. I use it at least once a day. I don't get mad about it but makes me sick that the newbies won't use it. If only because it has every answer to every question they have in spades. | ||

I have to agree with this. When I first came here people were flamed off if they asked an over asked question. Now they are answered with no mention of "Do Some Research". I do have to admit that I really like both boards and think that it helps. If I have a question that is difficult and I want a few good responses...I can post it in elite select. If I have a question that I would just like to see everone's opinions whether stupid or useful. I can post it here. Occasionaly it's nice to be able to post something semi-redundant just to see what maybe some of the new additions opinions are...and occasionaly I want the opinions of a few select individuals.
