first i gotta say this is a wicked board! now down to business....1 hour after i train a bodypart, i get serious cramping that hurts like hell. it lasts for about 5 hours. its so bad that on leg days i gotta go to bed and lay with my knees to my chest. it happens when i train chest, bi's, tri's and especialy legs. i stretch, eat plennty and drink lots of water. i also take a potassium supplement. what is going on. i even got blood work done to see if there is something chemicaly wrong.the doctor told me that it's probably due to excessive training. i have been training for 3 years and there were times when i used to train a lot harder than i do now. help me...

how much water is a lot...and are you evenly disributing it? drink at least two liters per leg workout...eat plenty of sodium, I have found that guys cut sodium too low during a cycle to eliminate bloating, but you need more sodium during the intense workouts... ------------------

ONE DAY AFTER AN INSANE SHOULDER WORKOUT I NOTICED MY JAW MUSCLES WERE SORE FROM GRUNTING AND STRAINING FROM THE WORKOUT. AFTER I LEFT THE GYM I WAS DRIVING TOWARD A BUSY INTERSECTION AND HAD A HUGE YAWN FROM BEING EXHAUSTED. WELL, SURE AS SHIT MY JAW LOCKED AND I STARTED FREAKING OUT BECAUSE I COULDNT CLOSE MY MOUTH. I LOOK OVER AND THIS WOMEN IS LOOKING AT ME LIKE I JUST ESCAPED FROM BELVEU MENTAL HOSPITAL. THAT WAS CRAZY SHIT! "ALL MEN ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL"

I am no docotor, but caffiene made me cramp. I cut back on the number of times and amounts in my ECA stack and the cramps went away. Good luck ------------------ "Obsession is passion. Use it. Make it your strength." -by Puc

I have trained a few elite athletes and found this problem before. I believe the key is potassium, calcium, magnesium and l-taurine. The L-taurine seems to work very well by itself and has some function with electrolytes in the body. I can't seem to remember the study that used it but it has work so well I have recomended it alot. I wish I could tell you the dosages to use but I believe this is a personal thing that is very different for everyone. Good Luck |
