Hey bro's, my first post, and I have to say thanks for all the valuable info you have passed along to me in the last few months. Am I right that Deca and Equipose are both nandrolone and there for EQ and Propecia would react the same way as Deca and Propecia with regards to hair loss? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

No, EQ and deca are not chemically alike. Boldenone reduces via the 5 alpha reductase enzyme to dihydroboldenone (DHB), whereas nandrolone reduces to dihydronandrolone (DHN). The problem with using propecia with deca is DHN is less androgenic than nandrolone, and binds very tightly to the receptors on the scalp. Blocking the reduction causes the more androgenic nandrolone to bind to the receptors (it also binds very tightly), where it is more likely than nandrolone to cause hair loss. I don't believe there is any real need to use propecia with an EQ only cycle, as DHB isn't terribly androgenic (although when d-bol, which is methylated boldenone, is reduced, the methyl group might attach to the DHB, which would make its androgenic effects more acute). But if you're taking test in the cycle as well, there's no reason not to take propecia with it. As far as deca/test cycles, propecia would, for the reasons stated above, not be desirable, but the use of deca along with test might mitigate hair loss as the DHN would be more likely to attach to the scalp receptor than the test. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Thanks very much the truth, I am trying to decide what will work best for me stacked with Sustanon and the propecia. EQ might be the one. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Truth, are you a chemist or something? That was cool info! Cleared my doubts too, thanks! ![]() ![]() ![]()

quote: Boldenone is not 5 alpha reduced...at least not to any degree. The dihyrdro metabolites of boldenone are stereospecific in the 5 beta configuration. Since finasteride (propecia) works by inhibiting 5 alpha reductase, it will not prevent the formation of DHB anyway. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
