I am currently doing a 2week cycle. I injected the legs on Monday. On the left leg injection, while pushing the needle in very slowly my muscle moved so I think I hit a nerve. Although it was soar yesterday I injected again 2x 1 ml in diff spots on both legs(2 injections per leg). Now the upper area of the knee has a big browse and I cannot walk? What do you think is it serious? Do I need to go to the Doc?

Where the hell are you injecting in your leg? injecting in 3 different spots on your legs? There is only about 1 2" square spot on your leg which is safe to inject. I would suggest going to your doctor, and tell them what you injected. Maybe if you ask nicely she can show you how to inject properly. ------------------

With the big bruise it sounds like you probably ruptured a vein. If you had hit a nerve you would have instantly have had a jolt like you have never felt before.

Thanks for the responses.. I injected correctly as in the pic above. The strange thing is that the leg is swelled just above the knee.. thats far away from injection spot..

First let me say I have NEVER injected in the thigh but my research has found these tips for finding the right location. First you can divide your thigh in thirds and use the middle outer section or a more specific way is to stand straight up and let your arms hang down and the tip of you index finger should be the right vicinity to inject. Now the proper location would be to think of your legs as a clock. The top middle of your thigh is 12 o'clock the outside middle of your right leg would be 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock would be inside of your thigh by your penis, six o'clock would be opposite 12 on the bottom of your thigh. You want to inject between 1 and 2 o'clock. This is only what I have read and you should wait and see if someone with experience agrees or dis-agrees with my findings. Just trying to give you some reference points to use in the future. If any of this is wrong I would appreciate any feedback. Peace.

In school we were taught this; place the palm of one hand above your knee. Place the palm of the other hand at the top of your quad. Think of anyplace within that region, preferably upper/outer quadrant. email me if you have any other questions.

Is it just me or does that picture have something wrong with it. When is the base of the needle????? Any pin has a base before the needle starts. Usually 3/4", then the needle goes from there. I see nothing there.

what steroid are you using? i injected primo in my leg before and the same thing happened to me. the shot in my right leg was ok but my left was not. it swelled up just above the knee. it was hard to walk for 5 days. the only reason i came up with is that injecting in the left is a little more awkward and i think i was moving the pin around to much. but why it swelled up so far away from the shot sight is beyond me.
