work out light and make sure you get a good stretch before working out and after. You should also go the a health food store and get some glucosamine sulfate. Just ask them for it and they can help you find it. Take like 5 times the recomended dosage for a couple weeks then taper to the recomended dosage. It works wonders. -Gord ![]() ![]() ![]()

If you actually tore your rotator cuff, then you are going to need surgery. Otherwise you may REALLY hurt yourself. I would get an MRI to find out for sure. I'm assuming that you have been doing rotator cuff rehab also and it's not really helping. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

If you TORE them, you are done. You need surgery. Period. You are going to need an MRI so they can find out exactly what's torn, and then they have to be re-attached. You may sustain an even more serious injury if you continue. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I dont think he tor it. If he did he would be in severe pain and I hardly think he would be working out at all unless he's using some nubain or something. ![]() ![]() ![]()

That's not necessarily true. In the case of a minor tear, he may still have some mobility. You really should get an MRI. What's it worth? If you totally blow your rotator cuff and need it rebuilt, it may take months to fully recover...if ever. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I STRAINED MINE REALLY BAD LAST SUMMER AND IT TOOK ABOUT 2 MONTHS BEFORE I COULD GET MY HAND UP HIGH ENOUGH TO SCRATCH MY HEAD. KEEP ICE ON IT TO HELP THE SWELLING INSIDE OF THE JOINT AND TAKE GLUCOSIMINE WITH CONGORTNATE (SP?) OR DO LIKE I DID AND TAKE PRESCRIPTION ARTHRITIS MEDS. I USED INDOMECITHIN (SP?) AND I WAS BACK TO WORKING OUT WITHIN 4 MONTHS. HOPE THIS HELPS. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE IDIOTS!!! UNLESS YOU HAVE WORKED WITH OR ARE A REAL STRENGTH COACH, TRAINER, OR PHYSICAL THERAPIST, DON'T ATTEMPT TO REHAB IT YOURSELF!!! TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR HEALTH PLAN!!! THAT'S WHAT IT'S THERE FOR!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Have to agree with Bchemist. Get a professional to look at it - one with experience treating athletes. How did you injur it??? Military presses behind the neck seem cause alot of this shit. ![]() ![]() ![]()

BChemist is completely right, I had a minor tear and still had decent mobility in my shoulder. I was stubborn, and continued to train, use AS like Anadrol (of all things), and tried to minimize the pain with oxycods and anti-inflammatories the end result of course was further pain, and wasted time, which I could have better used by seeking professional help. After one month of fucking around, I finally sought help, and underwent surgery at the end of August. Even to this day, I still have to watch myself, and generally have to avoid extremely heavy straight bar movements. I maintained clomid usage for about a month after I ceased my cycle, and haven't really lost that much mass. In addition, I had incorporated primobolan into the cycle, so that might have made some difference. Anyway, get that MRI, and train smart. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Get an MRI. When I tore mine playing ball I couldn't even lift my arm the next day. I couldn't do shit with it. Even if you could you still need to see the Doc. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
