okay, this little header at the top of the page. i know this has been adressed before, but i have to bring it up again and i hope that maybe george will allow me the reason that "TO FIND STEROIDS, CLICK HERE" has to be at the top of this page! this is very disconcerting as not five minutes ago i had to deal with some inquisitive SOB as to why i am at a webpage that says something like that. i try to tell my collegues that i dont juice, BUT B/S LIKE THIS MAKES IT REALLY HARD TO KEEP THEM CONVINCED! i know it seems like i am bitching a lot, but i just want to know why it is "neccesary". sorry for the griping... late, ------------------     | ||

It's bad enough that I hear "I don't remember you being so big" at work all the time. And then I got my co-workers seeing that stupid banner also. "Oh it's just a weight training site that I research on....it's one of those stupid ads that nobody pays any attention to..." is my reply. I know that I won't buy that book now, just because of how much trouble it causes me every time the banner for it pops up. It's bad luck....get rid of it, or make it more inconspiquous. | ||

there are some advertisments that i would like to see. but that one is just ridiculous. i mean cmon. and then they wonder why bord's get a lot of shit. true some of it is morons posting sources and whatnot, but i am sure that banner plays a role also. its just uncalled for. my opinion. late, | ||

Yeah, it completely hacks me off. Not only do I have to turn my images off, but it also means I can't look at photos that get posted to the board without risking that banner popping up. And once the banner has been loaded just once, it automatically keeps loading again and again everytime I revisit the board. seems to get stored in my cache memory and darned if I know how to delete it. GRRRRR. Can anyone help me? | ||

I hear all the same shit at work about the banner. What I do is make the window smaller and hide the top part of the webpage. No one see's the big flahing Steriods and I can surf away without having to answer uncomfortable questions. You can also hit the windows key and M to quickly minimize all windows on your desktop. Improvise, Adapt, and Overcome!!!! ------------------ | ||

I'm starting to think that all this open source posting -- however seemingly veiled -- and steroid websites (located in, of all places, North America) are going to seem like the "good old days" in the future. The truly serious sources, and the longest lasting in my opinion, don't advertise openly. And they're overloaded. They deal with their stable, mature, trustworthy clientele, and with the confidential referrals from their existing clients. And everybody is happy...and safe. Fuck the open posting and websites. They're magnets for Feds, narcs, local law enforcement agencies, and idiotic and inexperienced 20-year-olds (no offense meant to the serious younger bro's). Dexter ------------------ | ||

Im with you guys 100% too. I mean, when everybody on here says "no this board doesnt advertise sources, steroids, etc" its bullshit. Looking at the top of that page makes everything here so hypocritical sometimes. I hate the damn thing, and it needs to go. Its not really classy at all when you have a suit on at your desk, and somebody walks by and sees that on your comp screen.
