Anyone ever use this? Do they know if you're supplying a valid address as to where the money is being sent? Cant I just put in "123 This Street     | ||

You can but it is much easier for anyone to find out who bought and sent the funds, Becasue you must use your credit card at the site. I used it once no problems so far. | ||

Yup it is very traceable. But I doubt the person who I'm sending the money to is using his real name. If I wire money to "Joe Blow" and receive a package from "Tommy Burns"- they have nothing on me. What's even better is sending that money to "Joe Blow in Mexico" and receiving a package from "Tommy Burns in Japan"  | ||

I have found it is best to use cash at the W.U. office. You cant waive ID of reciever online. ghans | ||

I used western union, You want to put your p.o. box adress so incase the money doesn't go through so you can get it back. I used cash and it is $15 dollars everytime you use. It is a good way on sending money. They wont think of anything becuae people send westernunion all the time. They wont know that you where sending it to a source. | ||

What I meant by tracable was using credit cards. It doesn't matter what ficticious name or address you use, your credit card is yours, and there's your paper trail. I think maybe I misunderstood the original post, because I'm sure someone with your experience wouldn't be using credit cards (your own anyway) to trans-act any buisness like this. | ||

that anytown thing really doesnt work. It may work 20% of the time if that. They are only able to pick up withing a 50 mile radius of the city put down. So if you 50 miles from the city on there you can pick it up in your town. Without the ID they get suspicious (its dumb but they do), on top of that if any of the info is mistyped by the dumb-ass clerk at the store it was bought makes you more suspicious, then on top of all that the anytown bs. They dont HAVE to give you the money if they are suspicious, thats what WU tells them when they call asking whether or no to release the money. Ill say it again western union sucks.
