I was talking to a buddy of mine that keeps his slin in a bureau draw. He said Insulin will stay good at Room temp for a long time if not exposed to sunlight ect. What is your take on this?? Thanks guys ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Yes it will, as long as the room isn't too warm and there's no direct light. If in doubt, or if you think you need to keep it for a while, throw it in the fridge. IronMike ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Store unopened insulin vials or pen-injector cartridges in a refrigerator between 2�8 degreesC (36�46 degreesF); do not freeze. Return to room temperature before use. Opened vials (vials currently in use) may be safely stored at room temperature, at approximately 25 degreesC (77 degreesF) or cooler for up to 28 days. Pen-injector cartridges may be kept at room temperature, approximately 25 degreesC (77 degreesF) or cooler for up to 10 days. Protect from light and excessive heat.
