Epilepsy has many forms. Grand mal seems to be waves of spontaneous depolarization spreading from an overactive focal point in the brain. Ketogenic diets work good for epliepsy, indicating that a decreased energy supply for the spontaneous depolarizations would help decrease their frequency. The increased energy demand resulting from the anabolic state of AS may reduce the energy available to the focal point culprit. My best guess is that AS would reduce the frequency of epileptic attacks or have no effect at all. Hope it helps, add me to the "thanks to all the little people" section of your book. Peace! ------------------

High carb diet is a no-no, too much extra glucose for the brain, B-12 or no. There should be a lot of literature on the use of keto diets for grand mal. Good luck. Peace! ------------------
