bro... i as well am starting out from scratch <kinda>. i am in my first week, i am doing a typical "3 sets of 10 reps" and training four days a week for the first month...i am not gonna touch any gear for the first month, then i'll be able to effectively use the juice... by the way, i started using creatine, glutamine, ephedrine <before workouts>, whey, MRPs, and vanadyl, in conjunction with a mass diet, for the first month that i am getting back into it....it's gonna be interesting to see how my body responds to the natural supplements and what will happen with the addition of juice. right now i'm at 225 <5'9"> and about 15% bodylard...i benched a measly 275 for 5 reps on monday, but this will improve right away glad i'm back where i belong...THE GYM! ------------------

aky: I'm not sure how to respond to your query. Don't know what kind of injury you had, where your current conditioning is at, how strong you were before the injury, etc., etc.. In general, when posting a "What should I do?" kind of question, give us a basic rundown of your situation so we can best know how to help you. That being said, I think it would be prudent, and more effective in the long run, to get completely back up to speed in the gym before you start gearing up. You should really be at the apex of your natural ability before you think about that shit, anyway, otherwise you're not likely to benefit much. Because of your prior level of fitness and the phenomena of both "muscle memory" and "beginner gains," you're very likely to make rapid strides in terms of both size and strength without gear, provided you eat well, rest, and workout with intensity. The ECA stack might give you a boost in the gym, but I'd leave it at that for now. Come back later for more help when you're back up to your top level, then we'll talk. Meanwhile, be well, and lift heavy, bro. Bjaarki ------------------ BECOME SOMEONE'S HERO!

Some time ago I recovered from a torn rotator cuff. I couldn't train my upper body for a seriously long time but when I got back into it, the size I lost and the strength came back in a matter of weeks. The only thing is my bodyfat is somewhere around 15% too. I figure I'd rather get back to my original size and then cut. AY

I'm with Bjaarki on this one. When you say starting form scratch do you mean that you javen't lifted or dieted? Or did you keep eating clean even though you were outta the gym? If you've been off diet for a while get back on and hit the gym. You shouldn't need any help losing some of the body fst thst way. If you have been eating clean then just getting back into the gym will lean you up some. If you must use something then ECA would be the most I'd recommend. As for gear, get in the gym and stay there for at least two months. But again it depends on how long you've been out. It might take longer than 2 months if you've been out a while. You will see pretty dramatic increases the first two months naturally due to muscle memory. |
