guy's, I just want to see if any of the good 'ol boys are gonna be on the new board. And you all know who you are, guys I've know over the board for months now. I got my AS education here, but now if I don't join the new board, I'll be like the oldest guy here who hasn't done a cycle. at only 18 years of age. ------------------     | ||

If I can scrape up the dough,I'm going to join,BUT-by no means does it not mean that I won't be a regular part of this board as well.I LOVE this board,and all the good bros that frequent it,so I will still definitely be a part of it. | ||

Exactly Huck, all the good guys who visit it, a lot of the good guys will be lost and they won't come back because I'm assuming the quality of posts to be much better on the new board. I also agree wholehearted with you AJC, I think it should be a much more selective process on who gets in. I wish it was invitation only, even if I didn't get in right away, I'm confident I would sooner or later. I'll probably join, but I don't know how the hell I'm gonna raise 40 bucks. ------------------ | ||

I really like the idea of the new board but, I agree with AJC. If anyone can join then what's the difference??? Yes it will cut out a little of the garbage & other nonsense, but for $40.00, (which means approx. $70.00 for me in Canadian funds) it would have to be one kick-ass board. I'm still thinking ot over. ------------------ | ||

the only thing to do to save this board is to boycott this select board. do not join. then the bros will have to stay here as a result of low membership and the board folds. | ||

Stud Monkey, I don't want to boycott the board. Many of the more experianced people on elite would prefer a board with few highly respected members. I'm not experianced with AS yet, but I value the knowledge I've gained from these guys and I don't want to quit learning. If most of them go, so will I. ------------------ | ||

by just paying a fee does not make a board great. it just makes it limiting. if it were by invite only, then i might respect it more. until then, i may follow in gymrat's footsteps and leave the board entirely. | ||

For god sakes guys, the new board is a great idea, i really doubt, some kid will pay 40$ to get an account and when they post shit which isn't tollerated, have his account deleted and have to pay another 40$ to get back in. Now of course all the mods and vets are going to still come here and help you guys out, the thing is it's a real pain in the ass having a post which deals with perhaps more challenging questions pushed off the board by a mass of newbie questions, the new board gives us a place to discuss these things And ajc, the new board will be better, there will absolutely be no tollerance for shit at all, zero!!! No fucking around, it's for peopel who want to discuss new advancements and theories in bodybuiling. Not a place to get an education but a place to try and push each other intellecually. I understand what you're saying that anyone with $40 can join, but honestly if they're posting newbies questions, belive me they won't last long. ------------------ | ||

AJC does have a good point. Even though I probably wouldn't be invited right now, I back his idea entirely. This would not only make it easier for you mods to keep that board clean, it would also give the members piece of mind. I'd much rather be a member of and ELITE club that's invitation only than be a member of a club anyone can join. I'd pay the 40 if I was invited so it's not the money at all. ------------------ | ||
