Do not feel compelled to spend needed income on this forum! I am quite impressed with the change, I am less than impressed with the pricing!

My broke college ass allocates all of his money to Room and Board, Red Meat, and supplements! I can't even afford a subscription to a national newspaper or Playboy! Lemme tell ya, not being able to procure a hard copy of Chyna naked is all but killing me!

My initial idea was for a nominal one time fee, and the suggestion of invite only was a more than stellar suggestion! As easily as I am able to procure information for myself free of charge, I cant justify the expense!

Therefore, I will bite the bullet and say this first before my personal e-mail to George Spellwin gets responded too.

Don't feel pressured to sacrifice those needed pennies on my account or because of any obligation you might feel to bettering yourself as bodybuilders and athletes!

This may indeed prove to be an invaluable service, God willing when my economic positon improves I may very well hop on. Right now its just not feasable.

I guess you got what you asked for on Georges terms. After all he is the Boss of these sites. I may have to just pay the damn money if the bullshit post continue on free Elite. I haven't been around lately because you can skip 5 days and pick up where you left off. When I was a newbie here on Feb 2nd. I thought I had found heaven. I knew nothing about juice and e2 was here to answer my every question. I didn't look at the number of post someone had but at the content of thier post. That along with my own research has helped me beyond my belief. I got flamed for asking a question about t3 before I placed my first order. But I didn't cry about it. A flame is a learning tool. I actualy thanked everyone I respected for the flame except pops. He pissed me off. Here was a Mofo that had never contributed to my knowledge, nor had he ever helped me in any way yet he had his flame thrower ready. Enough of this shit. I'll be in deep thought for a few. Trying to make up my mind. Do I want to join or just leave. elCubano. You have also been a great help. And Ranger. I miss the Rhymns Bro!

I will be staying here too. The new board is a good idea, but I have gotten nothing but solid advice, help, and support from the original board, so I will be staying.

I was tempted to join. But for that price I just can't justify it. Everything we >really< need to know about our endeavors can be found for free with a little digging. What I find benificial about the board is the little tidbits of information that pop up daily, causing me to do more research.

I'll stay here.

I have the cash to join, it is not an issue, however, why would I join when already I am seeing someone very valuable to a discussion in this particular forum will not be there. I am sure e2 is there as is a few of the other moderators over here, and that is what that board will need if it is to be succesful. DO I wanna pay to engage in conversation with them? I do not, I have realtionships via email or by other means with all those I have deemed to be knowledgeable in this particular arena. With that being said, i will also hold off until there is some more compelling reason to join.

I am with you, $40 per year or something like that might would work for me,but $40 every 6 months I think is a little high. If people would do searches, all of there questions are probably already answered on here. So I will be staying with you fellows.

I was glad to see George act so quickly to our demand but that price is just too steep for me.

I would prefer an invite only board where there is no fee.

Being realistic, I can see why George wouldnt create an elite board that would have no fee.

My only recommendation would be that people interested in intelligent debates can do so through email.

Better yet if I post a question and I want answers from specific people like TS, GymRat or E2. I can email everyone I want input from and ask them to read my thread on elite...

This will prevent our vets from spending hours shifting through the shit to get to a quality post.

I feel just the same. $40 is about 30. I coould eat for a week of of this!

I to am a university student and a long time frequenter of this board (4 years!).

It pisses me off because in a way I know it's neccesary because of these idiot posting shit all over the place.

I think, like you T_S that $40 is too much. I could perhaps afford $20 (still a lot of money) to show that I'm serious.

As much as I'd like to join the 'select' board, I can't. Can't afford it.

There must be other people in the same boat as us T_S?

I think there should be a way for whoever wants to, to apply for a reduced membership in order to get things going. Maybe like 20$ a year. George would make a killing because many people would definately apply for that. Then the Moderators or someone whom George picks could be a "jury" as to who gets in for the 20$ and who doesn't. Since there is a limited amount of space...these select could make up half of the population. Everyone else would have to pay the normal fee and would be more willing to if there is gonna be some good bro's there. Give everyone a week to put in their applications and then vote on who gets to get in for less...valued on their past posts, frequencey of the board, lack of annoying questions, lack of source posts and general trouble causeing. Basically the people we all want to see there. This is just my opinion.

Twisted_Steel
Ok i saw your post and thought it was a good idea a one off joining fee not bad and it keeps the dicks out

but George I think your takeing the piss with chargeing that much and for a 6 month period.

I expect i will be removed from this board for this but i agree with Twisted_Steel what was a good idea has been changed into another money spinner.

I dont believe it will cost that much to program the board as all it will mean is that george will remove the join part of the board and setup the users himself not much hassle really.

I myself cannot justyfy spending that much on a descussion board this board is good and there have been alot of stupid ass questions over the last couple of weeks and i would like to see less of them but is it worth paying for so we can have a little group that has a wealth of knowledge and the rest have a hard time finding out much needed facts when they have tryed every avenue of thought and research.

By createing barrer's like this it will tear apart what this board stands for the distribution of free knowledge so that we may better our self's physicly.

I think some people have the wrong idea about money

Its a means but not an end.

Just my thought's on the matter C U here Twisted_Steel

AMEN BROTHER, couldnt have been said any better, I agree 100%...This board was the shit back when I first joined. The days when it felt like your own personal board are dead and gone. There are still a few good Bro's left hanging around, but not like when I first joined back in January. The board still has its moments but they are getting fewer and far between....I'll still hang around, but I do miss the old days on Elite, that was the shit........

Just a thought; if these dumbass newbies (not all newbies, just dumbass ones) will pay hundreds of $s every year on gym memberships with the sole purpose of annoying the serious hardcore bros as well as the dirty low life scammers who spend serious money to make counterfeits that look exactly like the real deal, then what makes everyone so sure they'll keep their $40 in there pockets?

Come on if your making loads of money from ripping people off whats $40? Although most bros probably could afford the money I think it's gonna put a lot off. Most serious bodybuilders will be spending every penny they can on food/gear. I work full time and spend most of my money on it. If I got a payrise, I'd probably buy even more food/gear.

People love this site for its excellent free advice, so what if there's a lot of stupid people visit it as well, they are everywhere, havn't you noticed? I'm sure they'll also have their $40 ready as well.

As for me, I won't pay it, even though I could afford to, out of principle. I love this site and it has given me some superb advice so I'll continue to use it but if it ends up that this is all lost then there are other sources of information.

I think maybe it could be a good thing for this board. Maybe a new E2 will emerge out of the ashes:-) As long as we still have responsible mods around here and the serious board members keep a watchful eye out for BS, this board will be as good if not better than it's always been. Let's watch out for each other, bro's. Let's set a good example for all the newbies. Let's face it, newbies are going to ask stupid questions. They'll be flamed and will probably act with more care or do some research next time. There are assholes EVERYWHERE! Get used to it. This board is here so we can help each other out, let's not forget that. We're a brotherhood, right?

i am also a poor college student. its hard enough to allocate the money needed to fund my bodybuilding habits, school(tuition and books), and not to mention going out with friends. i don't understand why the cost for the elite select board is ridiculously overpriced. as much as i take BB seriously, these terms are simply not plausible...

Holy shit why the hell are you guys being so damn dramatic???? The board will not fall apart and honestly $40 is nothing, to any of us. Fuck, it's a meal out or a few amps of test, it's nothing, dont' try and tell me that you can't afford $40, cause we all know it's bullshit. Go bouce at a bar a couple of nights and make a few hundred. And $40 a year isn't a big deal at all, fuck it's 3.333$ a month, what the hell is that??? dont' try and tell me you can't find 3$ a month???

Go beg for money and you'll get $40 withing two hours.

I can't believe all the bitching and griping.

Just a point of clarification - the fee becomes 49.50 for 6 mths or 100. a year after the 1st year. I could see the free board being eliminated if enough members join the pay board.

TS u the man, i was gonna email u and give u my way of seing the new situation.

E2 i think that u're a great mod and full of knowlge, but i'm a student right now with no income, and i know i'm not the only one in these here parts.
and the way i see it is that 40$=about 1g of test, and for me that's alot (again no income just savings) ,
so i feel that after about one year of watching the board (this is'nt my 1st user name ) i'm being left out here
with all the newbie, smartass and scameres that the original TS idea was spose to keep outside.

sorry ,but english aint my lingo, and i was a lil bit exited (about the new board and because i'm doing ECA after a DNP cycle)

just my .2, peace bstrong.
