I don't believe it loses any biological value but for some reason protein drinks go rancid in short amounts of time. Believe me, you don't want to drink a protein drink after its gone bad. You'll be sittin on the pot for hours. I've made this mistake. I make sure I get them down right away. I wouldn't trust 3 hours with what happened to me but I don't think an hour would be to bad.

I do it every day... Actually I make it the night before...I mix a Myoplex or some kind of MRP and 80 grams of whey protein. to combine for 120 grams of protein...I keep it in the fridge at work and drink 1/3 or 1/4 at a time.

Pontency?????

Come ON its just fancy powdered milk. For real as long as you keep it in the frig it should last for at least a day.

I myself mix mine with water so I just carry around bottles with powder in them. I doesn't taste as good as milk, but it does the job.

Yeah I've done the same thing, making them ahead of time, and they'll stay fine for 3 hours. Heat is what destroys protein so they should be OK!!!!

What sucks is if you don't clean your blender right away.
Sometimes I don't have time to clean it and damn does it stink when I come home form work. I have to go through a whole damn decontamination procedure. LOL

I usually take a shake with me to work and I'll keep it in the fridge for a few hours, and it always tastes fine. That could be anywhere from 2 to 5 hours sometimes for me.
