Hey bros just wanted to let u know what happened to me to day i was going to misouri to take care of some thing when i got pulled over by a state tooper for speeding he was in un marked corvette. i was about to shit considering i had my supplements on me!  anyways he pulled me over had me come to his car wrote a sitation and then when i was about to leave poped the question do u have any drugs or weapons in the car. i was thinking oh shit so i told him no. he then sad u wouldnt mind if i searched ur vehical then right and i said go ahead not knowing how to respond so he searched my vehical and found my stuff. i thought for sure i was busted he asked me what the pills where for and i told him Iwas on precription for stress hehe he asked if i had the prec. with me and i said no. at this time i was ready to just put my hands out when he handed me my tabs and said u go head ive held u up long enough!SoIgot in my vehical and left. with my pants full of shit.hehe moral of the story u can never be to damn careful and dont ever ever speed!      | ||

not sure if it is the same in every state but in ca. you do have the right to tell them no if they ask to search your vehicle. if they have probable cause they are gonna search it anyway without asking. but glad to hear you got out safely. | ||

im in the golden state my self and one of the dudes at my gym is a sheriff.He told me he has found gear on people numerous times but hes let them go.He said thay mostly worry about other drugs(crank,weed,ex,herion) they dont trip about someones personal steriod stash,unless its enough to distribute. ------------------ | ||

I am pretty sure that it is a federal law that they cant search your car if you dont give them consent... but they can get a search warrant if they are hell bent on being pricks. There was a supreme court case where a guy in somewhere like montana got pulled over for speeding and the cops searched his car and found a joint, he was arrest but appealed and it went all the to the supreme court they voted in favor of the guy and since then they must have your permision SHARPS | ||

I'm a Criminal Justice majorand I'll let you know what I've learned. The only reason a cop can search your car without consent is if he has REASONABLE SUSPICION that you have WEAPONS on you. Now if you tell him it's o.k. to search your car whatever he finds can be used as incriminating evidence. REASONABLE SUSPICION - all you have to do is sweat, studder, or act nervous as hell and that's reason enough. MORAL OF THE STORY - Play it cool and if he asks anything about searching your car say NO! Because if he goes ahead and searches it anyway he can find every illegal thing in the world and it will ALWAYS get thrown out in court due to the "Fruit of the Poisonous Tree Doctrine". You have to give the oficer permision to perform the search in that situation. All you had to do was say NO and all headaches would have been avoided. NEVER consent to a search if they ask. If they are asking you for permision to search your property then they DO NOT have probable cause. This is standard procedure now for them to ask this because most Americans are ignorant to the fact that we have the right to say NO to a search if asked. If you say no, thaey can't do anything about it. | ||

another thing, saying NO to a search is NOT does not give the cop "reasonable suspicion", i can't remember what supreme court case set that, but i remember studying it | ||

Yeah but you guys got to remember that the cop has alot of power at this point. He has to have a probable cause to search it but all the guy has to do is say he thought he smelled pot and then search away. | ||

Glad you got away bro, but the most common way any recreational drug user gets caught involves a motor vehicle, trust me. Moral of the story is do not drive around with gear. | ||
