I have done some research and have heard that deca and propecia is a no no. however I LOVE DECA. I want to take some test in my next cycle. Nolvadex no prob. clomid no prob. but thir hair question. I don't know how to stack the test and deca. Does saw palmetto help with the hair and prostate issues and if so will it cause bad effects with the nadrolone like the propecia does? Any help appreciated fellas    | ||

I've heard that saw palmetto can help with the hair thing. But I also heard that it could possibly hinder gains. I don't know who said this...I think it was Bill Roberts...but it is only hearsay. steriods can help speed up hair loss but not in all people. excessive doseage for extended periods is normally the cause. i shave my head so its not a concern but again its stated above. as far as cycles go back and re read some past posts and this may help. since you don't say much about yourself and how much gear you have its hard to answer. if you want to be more specific drop me an e amil and i will try to help  | ||

Deca and testo are not a good combination for those looking to minimize hairloss. Taking finasteride to circumvent testo produced hairloss will only serve to aggravate nandrolone induced hairloss. The same can be said for saw palmetto. I would seriously consider swapping out the deca for eq or primo and using finasteride. Also, use topical spironolactone or flutamide as well as nizoral shampoo. [This message has been edited by Anabolicum Mister (edited September 29, 2000).] | ||

A.M.'s idea sounds pretty good. The only question is how much of the DHT conversion would that mix help stop. (50%,60%,70%??) I am considering the exact cycle so I am interested in the answer myself. Already have: I want to use ALL of these if I use the test. I am very prone to loose hair. | ||

NO NO NO My doctor gives me my Deca/test and insists on my using the Saw Palmetto when taking it. It will help you keep your hair while on Deca/test. It doesn't inhibit your gains at all. [This message has been edited by ulter (edited September 29, 2000).] | ||

Anabolicum M. would know the answer to this one...is he out there? I think you should crush 1 tab (250 mg) and mix it with 65 ml of minoxodil. (I cant remember if this is correct). I just remember seeing a post on it and remembered when I was in the pharmacy. But dont know the actual dosage for sure. | ||

Flutamide is a drug that is used primarily in the treatment of prostate cancer. So how can it help with hairloss? Androgens (including anabolic steroids)can contribute to the growth of prostatic tumours. Flutamide acts to block the androgen receptors by competitive inhibition. This means that androgens cannot be taken up by the receptor because the flutamide is "docked" where the androgen wants to "park". Because flutamide is one of the most potent androgen blockers known, some guys on AS use it topically to prevent hairloss. I hear that an effective dose is 10x250mg tabs crushed finely and mixed into 60ml of minoxidil. It should be noted that I have not used flutamide before, so I cannot comment personally on its level of effectiveness. In theory, it should work better than spironolactone, another androgen "blocker". | ||

For what its worth, one of my buddies took Saw Palmetto with his Sustanon cycle, and his gains were reduced dramatically. He was trying to help with the bumps on his arms and back, but only fucked himself. Dude, stick with some EQ, Test, & Dbol, and you will be taking the ULTIMATE CYCLE. In my opinion of course.  ------------------ |
