I have been lurking around this board for over a year now ,and the amount of worthless material being posted here due to laziness is getting out of hand. Most of the knowledgeable veterans are all but gone. You could have 50 Mods, and still couldnt control all the crap that has been on the board lately. Please consider charging a fee to be a member. People who are serious about being thoroughly informed about AS would be willing to pay. Thanks.. ------------------

I'd pay a reasonable registration fee to help filter out all the morons. Later, Green

I don't know any other way. Its a conflict of interests.. obviously Georges priority is to bring in as many as possible. But the more that comes the bigger amount of shitty posts. it would have to be non credit card payment of course.

this board is the best there is but was not always like that. George has worked very hard to make it what it is. This board on somedays has become a victim of its own success. there are many bullshit post as I think kids and folks who know nothing about the real sport of bodybuilding and supplements just like folks responding to there posts. i to woul pay a fee but would like that money to go back into the board in the way of testing new drugs as well as drugs out there to find out whats inside. i guess that would be a legal issue but for whats its worth think it would be great

What ever happened to the elite select, or whatever he called it. I would definitely pay a fee for a better quality forum. 75% b.s posts

I don't know if charging a fee is the answer. Anabolics.com charges, and there are just as many morons who can't read the rules, as there are here. Probably more! Maybe they could create another board that you could only get on if you had say 300 posts. If you can survive that long, you must not have fucked up too many times! Just my 2 cents from a Bro with 10 posts

i would pay ,but i dont like the idea of all my info being on a data base (such as credit card info).i dont think the number of post should decide if you could join the pay part of the board all you would see is bump bump bump!

How do you prevent the non-intelligent posters from paying the fee?

Granted, if you start charging a fee, you will probably reduce the amount of users who have little to offer to this discussion board. but i suspect that we would also lose many of the people whose opinions weve come to value as well. i would definitely miss the medical/chemical advice offered by people like bchemist & theraji or the common sence given by ulter & bjaarki (for the sole purpose of reducing our client base). within the first few weeks of utilizing this board, you should know which people have something to offer & which people dont. just ignore the posts of people who dont bring anything to the board. lastly, whose to say that the morons wont be more prone to paying a fee than anyone else? its just one of the negative's of having such a successful board. ------------------ |
