A friend of mine just told me she has a brain tumor. It is benign, but the Doctor said it was caused by too much Prgesterone in her system. She asked me about taking Calcium D-Glucarate. I know this is an OTC estrogen blocker right? I also know there is a negative feedback mechanism, but damned if I remember it. My question is this: If I block estrogen, will it increase or decrease her progesterone levels? Would Testosterone decrease them? Any advise you guys can give me would be appreciated. Thanks alot, Murph ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

I think it would depend on which step the blocker works at interrupting progesterone or estrogen production. If it is blocked early in the process, the base will just be converted into another steroid hormone. Test will probably increase the levels of progesterone and estrogen, but lower cortisol. I wouldn't recommend making your friend the test subject, but I wonder what the effects of winstrol would be. Best wishes to you and your friend. Peace! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
