LEGS, i got a bad knee and i cant really do heavy squats, im not sure wha ti can do to add some quality meat to my legs. and im not kidding i have half a knee cap on my right leg. and i plan to start deca and winny soon(first cycle) if i keep the weights at a lower weight and do high reps can i still achieve good muscle growth?

have you tried dead lifts they're less hard on your knees. if you do go higher reps your going to have to go balls out on every set to get good gains but it can be done. it also depends on your body type ectomorph, mesomorph etc.

I've known a lot of guys with various knee problems (surgery on their ACLs, "blown out kneecaps," "old football injuries," etc.) who swore on a stack of bible that they couldn't do squats, until they really tried. Go easy, do full range, light bar, build up slowly. Don't know what you've tried, bro, that's why I ask.

Let's talk about this. Email me offline if you'd like. I'm no coach or anything, and I can't squat much weight, but I've helped a lot of guys at my gym dust the cobwebs off the squat rack.

If you can manage leg extentions you could use these to pre-exhaust the quads before any squatting movements

Have your tried hack squats? Also, try smith squats- it allows you to have some different positions for your legs. Yeah, I think you still can get good muscle growth going high reps, just try to make them more difficult: (it's not just how much you lift, it's how you lift it and how much) ass to the floor, taking slow painstaking reps.

high reps squats(low poundage) on the smith machine or safty squat if your gym has one
