I started lifting about 6 months ago, and I was thinking of starting a power pyramid. Does anyone think this is a bad idea?? I was looking at one that uses only one exercise per bodypart, and is done over the course of 3 days a week. However the way it works is 5 sets with the 1st as the warmup, and the next 4 work, but when it pyramids it only goes down in reps and never comes back up is this correct or am i not looking at a pyramid. If someone could offer some help i would appreciate it. Again i am fairly new to lifting so i don't wanna go to crazy and risk overtraining, but it is something i am interested in.....thanks in advance.
