A bunch of the athletes are gettin busted with enhancement drugs, Stimulants. Why do they take juice, knowing that they can get caught? Their government can support the fees. Havent they heard of GH, or IGF-1?? That shit is the best shit to take, and undetectable. Give me yr feedbacks.

Did ya' catch the latest on Hunter, SI now reports "4" positives this year!
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/olympics/2000/track_and_field/news/2000/09/25/ioc_h unter/

By the way, the Sept. SI (print edition, the one with Knight on the cover) has an interesting/lengthy story re: the IOC and testing for this O.

I think that some of the officials of the IOC and some of the competitors that are always complaining about drug use need to wake up. The percentage of olympic athletes that use some type of performance enhancing drug is sky high, maybe as high as 90%. Alot of them are using something, whether it be AS, HGH or just stimulants to compete at such a high level. This is not news to anyone who knows about olympic, or professional sports in general, and their individual training strategies. Once drug use starts, it is imposssible to compete on a level playing field unless they all are allowed to take whatever they want.

Did anyone see the documentary on A&E about performance enhancing drugs, etc.

The segment on East Germany was very interesting. It turns out one of the IOC approved drug labs which was used to perform confirming tests on drug screens for major events was located at the heart of the East German "Chemical Enhancement Center".

Very convenient! This is why East Germans never tested positive. Athletes were not allowed to leave the country until they passed the IOC specification drug screens! More that a few East German athletes who missed major events due to "injury" likely were not clean enough to pass, and therefore stayed home. (Worse yet, the athletes did not even know what the "vitamins" they were taking really were...)

Back to present day:....In this Olympics I think the level of screening has gone up (more sophiticated tests, stc), and it is simply catching some athletes by suprise. The margin for error is smaller, and some are getting caught because their normal cleansing techniques are not adequate.

AS are like nuclear weapons and lawyers.... if your opponents have them, you must have them too, or don't even bother to compete. And there is really nothing wrong with that. It's just the way it is. Mainstream media, IOC, etc will never allow that to be known though.....

I thought they must have been testing everyone when all these athletes (esp china) where withdrawing due to 'injury' but now Ian Thorpe has made a public announcement how HE KNOWS THAT ONE SWIMMER HE RACED AGAINST WAS DEFINITELY ON PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS, he wouldnt name the athlete but he said that the IOC needs to improve testing to the level of compulsory blood tests for all athletes,
does anyone know how they pick those to be tested currently?

Yeah I think that they check those go to the finals, after the race. I think in other sports it is done on the top four finishers. I might be wrong, that is just what people have been saying.

I saw a clip were they test for over 100 different banned substances including masking agents. Still no positive test for gh though. Some of those female swimmers looked pretty bloated to me. Big soft meaty arms and shoulders, hmmmmmm.

All the athlete are on drugs. I know someone that knows the person that gives/inject the drugs in 2 of the fastest man in the world. They take GH and Insulin and a whole spectrum of high tech drugs and mixtures, believe me the chance of holding a gold medal for your country, well alot of people will do anything to attain that status or level and that includes the chances of getting caught with illegal substances. Because without drugs they would not be there, so they have to take some, just hoping not to get caught.

They can test for EPO now- some endurance athletes will be busted, but the stuff is out of the system pretty fast
