He he yes i put fluor (sp?? or is it flour? i dunno) into my protein shake because i couldnt find any maltodextrin. Im not really sure about the GI index of this but i dont think it is high. What do you guys say??? Could this be a Good idea ?

I think im gonna put just some fructose instead of what i just did. Is fructose better than maltodextrin????

I have read and asked Lyle Mcdonald (author of ketogenic diet) about fructose. He says that the average male liver can use about 50g a day. After that it sees a surplus and dumps the sugar back into the blood stream. If it cannot use it for immediate energy then it converts it to fat.

I thought the maltodextrin was just for flavor or mixability..am I wrong? If thats the case who cares, just drink it.

Flour is just as bad, if not worse than maltodextrin. Actually, they are both a shitty choice of carbs. They are both highly processed and a very fast burning carb. They may be low on the Glycemic Index, but that's why it's not a very reliable way of telling if a food is good for bodybuilding purposes. If you want a good, slow burning carbohydrate add some oatmeal to your protein shakes.
