For several months I've been stuck on the same weight(s) on my chest. It's pissing me off. To this end I'm about to do the first cycle in 3 years. I need to change my current regime on chest days, been doing it to long so. I'm doing 500mg Sus + 400mg Deca p/w My current routine is: 1/ Bench : 12,8,10,10 (sometimes one rep max after 8) 2/ Dumbell press : same (no one rep max!) 3/ Decline press : same 4/ Incline press : same I usually work out for 50 mins. Last time I did A/S's I could work out for upto 90 minutes without feeling that tired. Should I go for more intensity or more exercise (reps/sets). Any ideas on differect exercise or rep/set patterns on these dosages od deca/sust would be well appreciated. Especially from poeple that've done it before! Cheers. ------------------ | ||

You could do a couple of sets in the 4-6 rep range to build a little more streength. Adding some Dbol in will also help jumpstart your cycle and provide some quick strength gains. | ||

Holy shit, you dont do flyes? Thats the best chest builder out their if you ask me. No cables, no machines, just dumbell flyes on a flat bench. Oh, I would do less sets and fewer reps too- | ||

low reps 4-6 heavy weight i dont know about that flyes as a mass builder but then again i always do flyes and low reps so i cant tell if it helps ....but you do get a great stretch...dont know much a bout juice???? | ||

Yep, I know a fair amount. I suppose it's quite subjective though what works for who. I got great results last time. Putting it simply, the way I figure it Deca's MAIN strength is that it allows one to work harder and longer and recover quicker. Sustenon's MAIN strength is that it's a great strength builder and allows greater assimilation of nutrients and their metabolisation. I know both substances have some androgenic/anabolic process's As I say I just wanted to hear some opionions. Last time I asked this question on Elitefitness 3 years ago I was told to do set's such as: Press 12,10,8,1,8,10 etc. Thanks for the advice about the fly's. I must Any more advice on overall length of workout / intensity? I think I might strike a balance between both. I love intense workouts. Oh yeah, I also am throwing 40mg clomid in EOD + 3 weeks after end of cycle soon as I get some. Should'nt effect gains too much should it? ------------------ | ||

Well here's a thought, if 4 exercises aren't working for you, maybe you need to cut the volume and up the intensity!!!! I doubt adding more will ever be better. Why not pick two compound exercises like the Flat Bench and Incline Bench and hit it H-A-R-D!!!!! I know you probably think your working hard now, but if you try this and know you'll only be doing 2 exercises I garuntee you will work harder than ever before. Just keep trying to push more weight or more reps every workout. Your probably over worked right now. Just my .02 but I did the same thing and all my weights are going up consistentally. | ||

Yep I agree with what the others said. Try lowering the sets to 3 per exercise and keep very low reps. Also incorporate some fly movements in there. | ||

My chest is the best part on my body and all I do is 2 sets of dumbell flat bench, 2 sets of dumbell inclined bench, and 2 sets of flyes. Go heavy and stretch those flyes out until your chest is on fire. Concentrate on slow negative movements- | ||

Here is a simple chest workout that I use (each body part once a week) Flat bench. 135x10 225x10 245x8 275x6 (once Flat Flyes... 50x8 3 sets Weighted dips--80x15 80x12 80x10 that is it for chest...give it a shot and make sure you only train each body part once a week... ------------------ |
