I am planning on doing a long cycle of proviron at around five tabs a day. I don't want to go bald so if i take propeica or proscar will it make the proviron ineffective or inactive since it converts to dht. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

if i take propeica or proscar will it make the proviron ineffective or inactive since it converts to dht. My best guess is "no". I believe that proviron (mesterlone) is already a 5-alpha-dihydrotestosterone. Since it is already a DHT it will not convert to DHT via the 5-alpha reductase enzyme. Since propecia/proscar inhibits this enzyme, it will not have an effect on proviron. Therefore, while propecia/proscar won't make proviron inactive, taking proviron will not help in your battle to keep your hair, since it is DHT. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
