1) These are busy men. Keep emails short and to the point. But if you do need to send them a lot of info to read, make sure it is complete and doesn't leave them guessing.

2) Try to make it simple. Nothing is more annoying then playing "tag" with emails. If you have a question, make sure the first email is sufficient enough for an answer. That goes along with sending complete information.

3) Use handles. No one, or not many, know your real name. If it is someone from your board use that boards handle. This does two things;
a]allows the reciever to recognize you and
b]the reciever doesn't need to email you back asking who you are. Eliminating needless emails and wasted time.

4) Be polite. Please and thank you makes the difference between a prompt response and possibly not one at all. They are doing YOU a favor.

5) When emailing a source, include refference. Lets them know how you got their info and gives them a little sense of security. I don't but it isn't a bad idea. It is up to you.

6) When emailing a source, include what board you are from. This can take the place of tip #5. Sources, and scammers, whatch boards and know whats up. In assumption, if I say I'm from Elite and he knows Elite has a no source posting policy, then I must have gotten it from someone that was cool and didn't just read it.
