Bro's, I thought that I would share this story with you. on a recent trip to MX, i purchased some winny, sost, and halo. I concealed my purchase inside another legitimate purchase. When crossing back (on foot), i made it thru the first checkpoint no probs. Then at the 2nd point, the guy stopped me and my friend (who knew absolutely NOTHING about my "vitamins"). This guard asked specifically if we had purchased prescription drugs. We said NO. He asked again...and again, we said NO. then he asked us both to step to the side. My heart stopped and my stomach dropped to the level of my nads. Then he asked us to empty our pockets...No prob! I pulled out some change, sunglasses, and a big fat wallet (just wallet, no money after shopping trip). When he saw my wallet, he said that that was a large wallet and let us go. I was about to shit if he wanted to search our bags. But, it turned out that the wallet size made him suspicious that it may have been some "drugs". Lesson = watch out for bulging pockets when crossing border.     | ||

thanks for the heads up brother......... also go with a group of friends, or a girlfriend and try and borrow a baby if you don't have one, making it look like a family trip. it looks real suspiscious if crossing by yourself. [This message has been edited by timac (edited September 24, 2000).] | ||

My freind and I crossed the border with a Ritz cracker box and a new phone and answering machine.....they never even knew....ritz box was in the front floor board... ------------------ |
