I'm currently taking Prozac and it's killing my sex drive and gains have slowed. Does Prozac cause your test levels to drop? Any info would be helpful. Thanks, Green     | ||

I can't tell you what the Prozacs effects are but low test levels will cause a low sex drive. | ||

Anyone else?? I have a Dr.'s appointment and I'm going to tell him that he has to give me something to fix this. My girl is geetting mad because when I do plug her I can't finish. I know this is a typical side to the drug but can it be fixed?? I'm hoping the doc gives me something. LAter, Green | ||

I really do not think the big P. will cause test levels to decrease, but it will totaly screw your body up......causing little jimmy to stay home.... ------------------ | ||

I took prozac for awhile. If you tell your doc that you can`t keep it up or bust a nut, he may give you bu-spar or wellbutrin to conteract the sexual side affects. Or he may change you to a totally different med. But man let me tell ya, all that shit sucks. | ||

I feel your pain though. I am coming off my cycle and my sex drive has gone from sky high to rock bottom. It sucks. I used to think about sex at least every 5 seconds and now I hardly ever think about it. I just looked for that post but didn't see it. I saw it earlier this week. Try a search on "Coming on Prozac" and you might find that thread I am speaking of. | ||

green...you can pretty much forget about a 'normal' sex life if your taking prozac or any other SSRI for that matter. these meds are gaining popularity in the treatment of premature ejaculation--i took zoloft for two months a couple years ago and, well lets just say that i had to imagine my girl as some highschool fuck-fantasy in order to climax! your ability to maintain an erection or get aroused shouldnt be greatly affected but your ability to finish definitely will. if your taking 20mg try 10mg as many people respond well to that dose. if your still having trouble and you feel like you need something give wellbutrin or celexia a try |
