Mine was 150/95 last time I was on dbol. A lot of it is from water retention. Once I came off my cycle, it went back down. Your diastolic is fine, but your systolic is way up there. How's your sodium intake?

You won't die. Mine was even higher and the doc still did not put me on anything. I was on an allergy pill with decongestant at the time too and after some research discovered this was the main culprit, so look at other reasons too. Now I am fine.

You will die. That is our goal in life. But because of your BP being high would first cause a stroke, before death. BP rising is dependent on current health limits, and the amount and susbstance you are putting in your body. Mine usually goes up about 23 points on the high side and 14 on the low. Funny when your doctor looks at you with this kind of BP and wonders why you not lying on a slab some where. Just keep it monitored daily and you should be fine.

Hey Moe, I had the same concerns lately, if you read my post a few days ago mine got upto 165/115. I started doing light cardio every other day and using water pills along with a blood pressure med and its down to 130/82 now. I wouldnt worry if I were you, just watch the sodium intake and drink alot of water. The cardio really helps to though, so you might want to add some if your not already doing it!!!

The good thing is that your diastolic is still pretty low...the bottom number. This is the one that you have to worry about the most. That's not considered high until it gets about 90. Mine is normally 115/60 and it got up 140/90 once and it kinda freaked me out. But I'm still kickin'.

You will live, get it under control by watching sodium intake and steer away from ECA's for a while, also don't go bonkers on the fat/cholesterol.. You will be fine ..at least until you see the Dr. bill.

Shit, I hate being odd man out, but I gotta say that your BP is too high, systolic and diastolic. Don't take any diuretics for it while on deca- deca makes your blood thicker and so do diuretics, not good. You might consider taking some aspirin to thin your blood out, but don't expect a big BP drop from it. Your doc should prescribe you an ACE inhibitor (angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor) which will put a foot down on your BP. Questions? email me. Peace!

Normal blood pressure is 120/80. His diastolic is 80. How can you say it is too high. Sounds like its perfect to me.

He said it's too high because his systolic is 40 points higher than normal and the guy is probably in his 20's...granted he's not at stroke level, there is reason to be somewhat alarmed and keep things monitored.

I agree that it is high, but being that his resting blood pressure (diastolic) is normal...it makes it clear that the roids are what is affecting it. He should definately keep an eye on it and if it continues to raise should get it looked into.
