Broke the neck off my amp and a few shards of glass went into it. If you draw up tiny particles of glass into the syringe will it hurt..thanks     | ||

when you break off your necks is it a clean break. Mine alway break uneven. I'm using a pen lid wrapped in a towel. Any other quick ways to open. | ||

Just snap it, its not confusing at all. If you nedd to carass that sucker before you bang em, use a napkin and snap, use a file to score, or use a amp opener. Slopain | ||

i have noticed that certain amps open better than others....among the easiest ones to open are primotest/primobolan <schering>...and the hardest one not to break has got to be the testoprim-D amps....sustenon i wouldn't know much about...i have only seen the pre-loads ------------------ | ||

all you need to do is draw up with a small pin. the hole is so small that any particle that could fit thru that tiny of a hole wouldnt hurt you. whether you believe it or not every time you shoot you get dust and small particles of debris that are in the air. its everywhere. it wont hurt you whether its glass, dust, or bacteria. | ||

something i read not too long ago said to score your amps with a finger nail file. this has been working great for me. | ||

I am in no way saying you should do it, but I had a few, very very tiny particles of glass in my syringe. They were barely visible and I haven't had an abcess yet. | ||

Go ahead and draw through an 18, but inject with a 23. I don't think any glass will pass through the 23--it will just stay in the syringe. | ||

This happened to me once. The top shattered and small pieces of glass were at the bottom of the amp. I held it sideways and sucked it up around the glass shards. I didn't see any in the syringe so I shot it. Had no problems but I wonder now if I should have. Perhaps I was lucky. ghans | ||

just draw it up with a 23 guage, switch heads on the needle, another 23 or a 22 guage and shoot away. If your amp broke unevenly then the shards will be too big to pass through the pin. But change heads in case some is lodged in the opening. | ||

what some will go thru, was talking to a friend in his garage,he was about to hit some susto when i pulled up on my gsxr when he got distracted(probaly on g)dropped the amp and splat all over the floor, before i could even laugh for him being a dumb ass hes on the floor drawing it up like some mad scientist, i told him he was crazy and he said he wouldnt waste an amp--besides he had just mopped the floor earlier. but that filter idea sounds like a good one, other then that i wouldnt fuck w/ it! ------------------ | ||

I don't have experience with filters but without I'd definately forget about shooting the stuff..and yes I know it ain't easy to throw away good sauce. | ||

Draw it it up with a 23 change pins and inject, i don't think that tiny of a piece of glass will hurt you and the filter idea sounds good too, luckly haven't had that problem yet. | ||

Go to your local hardware store and buy a small triangle file, you'll always get a clean break. ------------------ | ||

I WOULD JUST SPEND AN HOUR SUCKING IT OUT WITH A 25G THEN PUT YOUR 22 OR 23G ON AND USE IT. | ||

I always file a nice little groove in the neck of the amp and then just grab it in my fist and pop the top off with my thumb. That has always worked for me clean break everytime. But don't throw away your amp. Never wast your vitamins. Draw out as much as you can. You should be able to see the broken glass in the amp just keep away from it. | ||

I would use a filter, but if you don't want to do this, why not shooting it with a 27 gauge. It will be difficult, BUT changes are you will not shoot splinters in your butt, since the opening will be very small. I mean 27 just in this case. It can even be done with a insulin syringe? ------------------ Don't look back, life is too short | ||
