1. does fed ex x ray their overnight packages?
say a person was to have something that was blister packed overnighted.
if they do xray:
would the foil backing show up as something suspicious?its being domestic obviously...
2. isnt there a place where the sender can specify to leave the package at the door so he would not have to sign.?
or can he leave a note giving authorization to leave package with the neighbor.(i think i may have done this before but ma not surewhich service it was with).
thanks bros
can anyone think of any other concerns they might have?
asap?

can anyone think of any other concerns?

Sorry can't help you too much other than saying the volume of mail the USPS recieves compared to Fed-Ex + UPS is unreal. The % of checked packages between fedx/ups is MUCH higher than USPS. I know they dont xray every package though.

I know fedex does xray some packages. A guy from around here got busted not to long ago by a guy dressed in a fedex uniform. when he signed for it he was arrested. Fedex is not a safe way to go. I would be very careful and find out what fedex guy is on your route everyday so you will know if it ain't him don't answer the door, because it could be a cop.

A friend of mine used to work at UPS and he said they are so f'n busy all night loading boxes that there is no way they would have time to check anything. The only time this becomes a problem whether its USPS, Fed Ex, or UPS is if a box breaks open, something leaks, or the sender was flagged from the beginning. Vary your sources, vary your delivery route, and vary your addies and you probably will avoid any scrutinty. Also, make them leave it at your doorstep. Never sign. Just my two cents...hell, my wife buys off of ebay and the net all the time. The UPS guy hits my house at least once every two weeks...never a problem. Always the same guy.

i doubt you'll have a problem with either since it's a domestic shipment. but always go with USPS. like the post above says, they deliver more mail than both usp and fed x combined. so your chances are much better with usps.
