Ok, so I've been meaning to tell her for some time now that I'm 6 weeks into a cycle, but haven't really had the opportunity and didn't really know how to bring it up. So, last night, after dinner, I just flat out told her, more or less. Well, SHE GOES FUCKIN' BALLISTIC telling me that she is disgusted with me and that the thought of me injecting something into my leg makes her physically ill, etc., etc. Basically, she was majorly worried about all of the "bad health issues" that can come about from juicing - all of the misconceptions that most people have (and that I had prior to doing research). Well, she didn't want to talk to me all night last night, but today I got a break. Evidently, she just needed time to calm down and now she is actually asking legit questions and is now slowly coming to believe that I poured ALOT of research into this and didn't blindly rush into it and run uneccessary risks. I think that she may be cool with once we have a chance to talk tonight. Can anyone give me some good ammo (verbal, of course) for the argument. Wish me luck because I'll be fighting for our cause. Well, from past experience I can almost guarantee you that she'll mention the "Aaron henry" story from HBO. That's the most annoying topic there is. People believe TV and they think thats what we all are.  | ||

No problem, I had the same problem about a year and a half ago. I dont agree with those that say keep it a secret if shes your wife or someone your around most of the time. It helps that they know, hell my girl gives me the shots when I can't reach em. It is better to be honest in this situation..and easier on you as well. I would have told her before hand though, now its kind of like a abrupt thing. I may have some of the files I collected at home still on the subject, I had a folder filled with 8 different articles / pages that described the benefit of AS and how to do them RIGHT. It always helps to throw in the one crazy story about that dude that was blasting 5grams of Suspension every day and a jug of dbols per meal, that shows what an idiot he is. This does 2 things, #1 You gain credibility by showing showing her your not brainwashed but sure if abused they can be dangerous, and #2 you show that your not no where near that dufuse whos liver fell out. You will be happy you told her once she accepts it, its easier not to hide things. Slopain | ||

I'm with you bro. Although she has calmed down big time, but anything that is ever wrong with me headache, tired, get pissed at the obvious, etc. she blames it on the AS. Be prepared for her to blame everything you do on steroids. | ||

I told my fiance and she left me and moved out... 2 months later we started talking again and now she spends half the week at my house... My girl is very conservative and against all drugs and things illegal but I convinced her of the safety... Just give her time to except it.. Don't rush her... | ||

You should teach her everything you know about as. Let her be involved in what cycle you take next, maybe you can even teach her how to inject. I did it like this and it works perfectly!! (altough I can't take too much now) Good luck! B2B. | ||

My fiance' is a registered nurse who brings home pins, forces me to let her open my vials because she doesn't want me cutting myself, and will allow no one else to inject my glutes for me. Guess Im spoiled rotten | ||

I'd have to say I disagree with most of you. Im not saying I tell anyone (just my girl and my training buddy) so Im not a public advocate for AS usage or anything, but If she trust you to be smart and responsible than why wouldnt she think you have researched this decision and know how to use it safely. You use them, she is supposed to love and trust you, so show her how you came to your decesion. Im curious to know how you guys broke it to your lady. I wouldnt do it midcycle for sure, let her see that you have thought about it. I told my girl 9 months before my cycle just in passing conversation at a restaraunt, she cried. I told her I would research it and not make any decisions for a couple months but would let he know then. I brought it up a couple times to let her know I didnt forget about it, then when the time came to make my decsion she was well prepared and trusted me. I didnt tell her I had already done 2 cycles, fact is - while we were conversing I was mid cycle preparing her for NEXT time, so I wouldnt have to hide it. Its all bout prepearation. Slopain | ||

Get ready For a God Damn rollercoster ride!!!!!!!! Ok, she might be ok w/ it until she gets pissed and throughs it in you face. Also my chick would ask for something and when i would'nt buy what she wanted she says "Oh yeah but you could spend money on that shit your taking"(thats when you slap herj/k) Has your women ever taken the pill? Outsmart her, I told my old lady I was gonna do another cycle and she started to whine, so I said fine, then I'll get some gymwhore to inject my ass! A woman's insecurities can be an effective tool in obtaining your desires. She must believe you have the will and ability to do so for this to work however. | ||

Don't tell the wife. I did and its a bad mistake. She thinks that I'll never be able to have kids....etc. Not to mention the price of a cycle. Holly shit thats a bad issue. We were at the mall, I went to look at the BB books. She was in her mood. So she says IN A SORTA LOUD VOICE "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR BOOKS ON STERIODS". I was FREAKING pissed. I told she could find her on way home. I guess woman will believe anything they see on a talk show. My buddys wife thinks that you can go to the gun show and buy a fully automatic machinegun. Woman will belive most anything they read or see, as long as your not the one doing the writting or speaking.

Brothers, the fact is, women are no different from men, in that everyone is different, and neither Slopain's experience, nor Hacker's, is going to be anyone else's. You've got to know your girl, what she's prepared to accept and what she's not, and act accordingly. Bottom line: Judge the situation on an individual basis. A guy who tells his girl can be either gutsy, or a fool. A guy who keeps it secret can be either wise, or craven. Try to be gutsy and wise. you should be able to be honest about it with your significant other. taking steroids is a pretty major aspect of your life (i would think) thats just something you should sit her down and tell her the facts. print out some stuff about it, whatever it takes. she needs to understand what steroids are all about and why you are taking them. i mean, they're making you a 'better' man for her, so why should she compain? she should thank you ------------------ | ||
