Whats up bros? My knees are fu*king killing me...it's from squatting..my form is correct and I only do them once a week, so I don't need a basic lesson in common sense...and I really don't want to stop doing them for a long time...Is there any supplement you guys can recommend to relieve some nasty joint pain?...thanks...

Anything that makes me retain a lot of water helps me with sore joints. Deca does work great but Test works good for me too.

Anything that causes water retention will help with joints. Anadrol, dbol, and test. Personally test enanthate works well for me. But yes, deca does work well

Aspirin is my favorite for joint pain. I'm told glucosamine/chondroitin works good, and the research supports it. Chances are you have a patellofemoral joint dysfunction (medicalese). Don't feel bad, lots of people do. A skilled athletic trainer or physical therapist can evaluate your knee and tape it, to correct any alignment problems. Good luck. Peace.

try the chondroitin and glucosamine. it will take a couple of months before you notice anything real distinct but it is supposed to be very effective for joints. the gelatin was also a good suggestion, not sure of its efficacy though.

search this on the web, glucosamine chondroitin, lots of articles on it. my dog has bad hips and after 1 week of this he walks without a limp. many hip, knee, etc.. problems are fixed with them. they are cheap as well. 40% savings on all things like this at vitamins.com

Forget about chondroitan. It is worthless crap. Go for some glucosamine sulfate HCL. If you get it by itself it will cost much less than the chondroitan combo. Don't get the sodium based glucosamine because it doesn't seem to work well, go with the HCL version. Vinager can do miracles for joints if you drink a tablespoon a day of the raw apple cider vinegar. Mix it in water with some honey and you can choke it down. My knees hurt when I do squats so I have started wearing a neoprene wrap on them during my warm-up sets and that helps some. You can also try pre-exhausting your quads by doing some leg-extensions before doing squats. All of these things have helped me with my knee joint pain. Later,

GiantSet: Why are you coming down like this on chondroitin? Is this your own experience? If so, you should frame your remarks that way. If not, you should present your evidence. Fact is, Dr. Atlas and cisstud are right, there is plentiful experimental evidence which supports the joint action (no pun intended) of the glucosamine/chondroitin compound. Big T should try this and see how he feels. Big T, you should also look into knee wraps while squatting. This will help keep the ligaments compressed, and may help you avoid so much discomfort post workout. I've also found that leg curls, kind of the opposite of squatting, can help with knee pain. I'm not sure why, and this may be completely idiocentric for all I know, but I find that it "evens things out" or something when I follow squats with some heavy curls (140 pounds or so). Gearseeker is also correct in pointing out that decadurabolin has a strong reputation for relieving joint pain, though it would be stupid to use that substance for joint relief only. Summing up, glucosamine/chondroitin, knee wraps, leg curls may be a good way to go. Maybe your next cycle, look into deca. Be well, and lift heavy, brother. Bjaarki

SAW SOME STUFF IN A VET MAG USED FOR HORSES, ONE OF MY FRIENDS HAS SOME AND SAID IT WORKS GOOD. IT HAS SOME GLUCOAMINE AND O.C. (PEPPER) AND IT IS APPLIED TOPICAL. WATCH OUT IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN THOUGH. DON'T PUT ANY ON YER MONKEY EITHER... |
