I usually have a friend do it, but he did not want to do it anymore. I had no choice, so I had to did it myself. I was very nervous, I got the needle in no problem. The problem was halfway during the injection, I started really getting hot. My face turned red. I was feeling sick in the pit of my stomach too. I started getting really lightheaded, so I pulled it out.
I decided to switch cheeks, and I changed needles. I took a deep breath and said to myself, "I can do this, relax." The second time around was so easy, and I was so relaxed. I put it in nice and slow and it did not hurt at all. I felt so good when I was done. I also know next time around it won't be any problem. I am writing this because, I had a huge phobia of needles. If I can do it so can you guys. I conquered my fear. To you guys out there, who might be afraid. Trust me, if you know what you are doing; it is a breeze.     | ||

good to hear. this might be irrelevant but what size pins are you using. the bigger they are the more afraid most people get. | ||

Glad to hear you came out ok with the needle. If the fear of the pain freaks you out, try slapping yourself on the ass hard a couple of times or putting an icepack back there for a few minutes prior to injecting. You wont feel a thing. | ||

i used to be somewhat afraid of needles, but not anymore. when i had arm surgery they couldn't find a vein in my arm. they jabbed me about 10x, felt like they hit a nerve, and i was brushing and shit. it was a big needle too, hurt pretty bad. if i survived that, bring on the steroid injection! | ||

Shit I don't see what the big deal is. Are we big strong body builders scared of itty bitty needles? No one showed me how to inject and I didn't even know anyone else doing gear. I just freakin did it and it's no big deal. | ||

fist the first one is always the hardest but you made it so it just gets easier from here. hey markm, no flame bro, but fist is a bigger man now for saying that he was nervous and faced that fear and handled it, than acting like a bad-ass that isnt afraid of anything. everyone is afraid of something, but you dont become a man by saying that your not and never facing it than saying you are and taking the courage to stare it in the eye and kick its ass. just my 2 cents | ||

I did pass out after my shot. I was out for about 15 seconds. My buddy who gave me the shot was slapping me in the face to wake me up. | ||

i know exactally what your talking about. i got so incredibly hot the first times also. but i have found a methode that works for me and now its a breeze. It takes me almost 15 seconds to get the needle in but that way i never even feel it enter. all i ever feel is the fluid pumping in. COngrats you popped your cherry  | ||

Nearly happened to me once. I was well, rather stoned to be honest, my friend did it, it hurt, then had a fair bit of blood cos he fucked up. Went all dizzy and hot/cold at the same time. Had to sit down and felt like I was going to throw up. IronMike | ||

my first time envolved a room full of guys and a big ass needle... i dropped like a rock. I have passed out religiously from every single injection i have had since i was 1 year old... Man i know fear of needles.. but let me say this, last week i did all four injections myself and it was one of the most powerful accomplishments i have ever had. when you truely beat a fear that has plagued you forever it is such an incredible feeling. ive made it though almost 2 full cycles without the burdin of doing it myself. I took it upon myself to just freekin do it... i got all dizzy and sick but only after the 1st one... after that the last 3 were cake... good luck bros' ------------------ | ||

Bro's, I did mine myself with only advice on my side and reasearch. and that was 2 weeks ago cant wait till friday gonna do it again. Im scared of needles but in my opinion if you pass out your a bit of a girl. Also a friend of mine is gonna start juiceing and wants me to inject him. Feels kinda strange i dunno if i can do it. Oh well gotta go get some more pins and barrels today. ------------------ | ||

I remember my first time and I was all on my own as well. I shit myself (not literally), although I had no phobia of needles I was scared what it would do to me. As I'd trained natural for such a long time and thought about it for so long, this was finally it. I'd also heard about aphatalitic (spelling) shock syndrome and was really paranoid. The first shot went OK but hurt afterwards and I ended up running up and down the block thinking the pumping blood would disperse it more. At first I found it really hard to push into the muscle but learned to relax. I used to have a full size poster of Arnold on the wall and I'd look at him during my shots if it was difficult to push in, saying to myself 'if Arnold could do it so can I'. | ||

ha,ha,ha Look at all the memorable experiences we have with this. I had the same problems: temperature rose, sweating, weak feeling, almost wanting to vomit, and damn near passed out. That experience was pretty cool. Now it's just PURE RUSH!!!!!!!!!!!! | ||

when i have my blood drawn if i dont lay down, i throw up,,, if I dont lay down,,,, i will come very close to passing out so i lay down for 5 minutes after it is taken | ||

The night before my first hit I couldn't think of anything else. Hardly slept. When the time came I just ran a few drops of test down the pin and slipped it in. It was buried before I new it. Staying relaxed is key. |
