For A couple now, there have been post about the customs dogs being able to sniff for gear. As some of u might know I work at one of the largest airports as a medic here on the east coast. I work along side many customs agents and I do like to pick there brains for info, I do have a good working relationship with them and I am able to get the answers that I need along with those u guys/gals have emailed me for. Last night I had to opp to talk to a k-9 officer and her dog and informed that customs dogs are only trained for the detection of NARCS(pot,coc,herion,etc) the dog is unable to pick up the scent of gear or any oils bases that they are formed. She also went on to tell me that most of the gear bust come from them being informed of the gear coming in on a mule(someone carying the product) and just random searches of bags. Medic-thanks.Many of know this but you are a CREDIBLE source of info of this type. On guy here is worried about the dogs smelling the scent of other animals on various boxes/products...ect.that he or ohers were "muleing" This guy means well but is extrapolating a little to much to maintain reasonability. ------------------ | ||

Hehe I pet the pooches with a pocket full of Dbols and Deca, give them ref-b for treats, they dont know anything except the ref taste like shit and they get a little more aggresive with the crack heads. Bump to keep this topic from re-appearing yet again. Slopain | ||

I think CONSULTANT said it the best. but i did like what slo had to say For where i work it is quite easy to figure that one out. It is the busiest and has more people coming though everyday than any other airport besides Miami Int' Any other question feel free to contact ------------------ | ||

Thanks for the info Medic. I have a friend that has a retired customs dog, next time he brings him over i'm going to test it out on him. We have a customs dog training facility just about 20 miles from my town. The same town where the UPS hub is. Great info bro very appreciated! Train Hard or Wear a Skirt! | ||
