Okay, I know that holding water (like when your in the middle of a good test. or d-ball cycle) has its benefits. Does anyone know if taking lasix to rid yourself of the horrible puffy face will decrease any of the positive effects from the held water. Should a person just put up with the held water untill the cycles over? If I confused anyone with this question, let me know and I'll try to re-phrase it. Thanks guys.

Dude, there are other avenues one can explore to reduce edema which don't activly change potassium levels within ones system. Your selectivly affecting a key nutrient for proper corenary function. If you insist on using a diuretic, try some of the potassium sparing products on the market. Aldactone and Aldactazide are the lesser of two evils here. Natural alternatives do abound in the form of herbal teas. Mint and cena are quite effective. I could also mention the use of tiny amounts of epsom salt diluted in water. However, this may not be worth it, the severe case of the runs which might occur would necessitate an enema. ------------------

Thanks for that info., but my main question is "what are the drawbacks to using ANY sort of diuretics during an androgenic cycle. Will using diuretics lessen any of the good effects of holding water? Thanks again, though.

of course they will. Not only are you loosing necessary water, but a shit load of vitamin and minerals are being lost with them. These products are only being used by us for 2-3 days before we walk on stage. ------------------

Woul over the counter water pills also be counteractive? Or are they just a waste to begin with? ------------------
