Seeing the Doc this week. Painful tingling like arm waking up all day and at night cant sleep. Currently at peak of cycle. Ok when training but returns a few hours later. Hard to drive, hard to hold onto things. Have had enough. Have heard about Carpel Tunnel and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. Any help greatly appreciated. Not effecting my training -yet.

The use of recombinant growth hormone can promote carple tunnel syndrome. I have seen it in one of my friends. ------------------

Sounds like Carpel Tunnel to me. Know several people who have had it. I have heard that you can help to battle it by doing revese wrist curls. (wrist flexions) That is after it has healed though. Has something to do with strengthening the opposite muscle group. ------------------ "Faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death." Thanx for the responses. Im pretty sure it is Carpal Tunnel from those Ive also talked with that have it although they say mine sounds kind of severe. Oh well, I guess you train hard you pain hard. Trouble is, I use my hands by trade and arent about to quit training as I hope to compete this winter at some local comps. This is totally fkd up!

I too get numbness in my arms, but I only get it when I do cardio. I usually do those EFX machines, it may be because my arms are somewhat elevated?? But it kinda mades me nervous. And it usually is only in my left arm. I hope it doesn't have anything to do w/my heart..

Try some vitamin B6 and see if that helps along with some B12

DAmn that kinda sounds severe. Could be peripheral nueropathy. Is it constant? Are you taking any other meds? I have had a numbness and tingling in my left hand since almost, when I began lifting. It has never been painful though, and usually only occured when I washed my hair or worked out. There was accompanying pain in my left forearm and weakness. Thought it was something bad. Finally went to see my doc and he ran me through a couple of easy real quick range of motion tests. Turns out it was a muscle spasm in the Traps and he perscribed and anti-inflammatory and an ice pack three times a week. Worked wonders! Still do the ice pack after workouts. Your doc can figure out what is wrong and get you fixed up. Keep us posted. I would really like to know what the diagnosis is. Peace.

hey bro I Hope it gets better...What type of cycle are you on....I got the same problem in my left hand about 2 months ago and i had it for a month straight...but as soon as my cycle ended it went away....alot of people told me it was carpel tunnel....for a while i thought it might be...but after looking into carpel tunnel it didnt add up so i figured i would wait it out till i finished my cycle and if it didnt get better i would see a doctor....I was on a cycle of T200,winny,primo,...oh yeah once i got to the primo part of my cycle it went away...so i guess it was either the t200 or the winny....good luck bro... |
