My friend went to a sportsdoctor who told him NOT to use the clomid I gave him on his cycle...He told him if he had any problems he would give him something(what, I don't know)..I know that tamoxiphen causes cancer , but clomid too??...If so I really don't give a shit..I would never do a cycle without clomid Les     | ||

Well considering Clomid is a drug used by doctors to treat estrogen dependant cancer I highly doubt it. Just wouldn't make any sense to give a cancer causing drug to patient fighting cancer would it? | ||

yoda, you'd be suprised what they give cancer patients. my dad went through chemo last summer, it ruined his thyroid and pancrease, it got the tummor to, thank god | ||

Tamoxifen causes cancer???? I thought tha tamoxifen is prescribed to cure breast cancer situations. Generally speaking tamoxifen is used against growth factor situations. For example, that is the reason why Tamoxifen reduses the values of IGF-1 at the liver. Nagasiro. | ||

Nolvadex /tamox does cause certain types of cancer, mainly stomach, but the perks outweigh the bad. Most doctors donot prescribe nolva for breast cancer anymore. It has been found to cause way to many stomach problems. Heartburn, bleeding ulcers, digestion problems all kinds of shit. And for you guys who say that it fights cancer, how can it give you cancer?. Look at what they cure snake bites with / snake venom. | ||

Actually Hambone it wouldn't surprise me, I lost my mother a few years back to cancer and know all about the shit they give patients. But I seriously dont believe Clomid does, or at the very least its probably at rediculously high dosages that cause it. | ||

bro's The bad news. . .it all may very well cause or increase the chance of aquiring cancer. Any gear, AS, or pharm you take. This stuff was originally produced for people with illnesses that ravaged the human body, not fitness freaks. The good news. It works for the purpose your using it and its probably only about as harmful as smoking or drinking in moderation. | ||

Treatment with clomid for more than a year MAY be associated with an increased risk of ovarian cancer, however the evidence for this effect is not conclusive (they don't know for sure). I would expect if a link is shown between clomid and ovarian cancer, there would be a link between clomid and testicular cancer. Tamoxifen (Nolvadex) increases the risk of endometrial cancer (cancer of the uterus, actually it's the cells that line the uterus). I don't think it causes testicular cancer, however, I may be wrong. If anyone knows info on this, please share a web address or where it could be read. Raloxifene, which is undergoing clinical trials, would have the same effects as Tamoxifen, but would not stimulate the endometruim, hence no cancer. |
