I believe what your talking about is the article in RK's M Mag about the diuretic effects of Diet coke when drank by the truckload. Assuming you aren't a complete idiot, you are talking about DIET soda...It would be OK to drink one every now and then, but it won't really help your cause. Yeah bro, pop is full of sugar. If your body doesn't use those carbs(sugar) as energy, then it can easily get converted into bodyfat. WHile your cutting, your going to cut your carbs down real low and up your protein so consuming lots of extra carbs (sugar) in pop would be counterproductive, and would surely not get you cut up (unless you have a kickass metabolism). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

I used to drink, 4 to 6 "popz" a day. Over the past year I quit. Hell I have problems drinking beer now. When you finally stop drinking anything but water, you will feel ill after u drink "popz." Simple because it is bad for you.

shit i guess if you like DIEING for a can of pop drink is just make sure its diet. But as for using it through out the diet no. what i like to drink throuh a diet is tea i have flavoured tea, sweetend with that sugar-free shit. its good i like it, but also i only drink like a cup of that every 2 days. the rest of the time nice cold crisp water. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

I think we are forgetting about some things in soda, it contains phosphoric acid, citric acid, sodium benzoate (preservative) and above all else it is carbonated with Co2. All that trapped gas in the soda has to go somewhere and it usually bloats the hell out of your stomach before passing gas whether orally or not. Not to mention the chemical ingredients do not look all that appetizing. With all the preservatives in foods now, I should last a million years. It's the caffeine in it that helps you cut, but that's nothing you couldn't do with ECA or any other fat loss supplement. Some research is beginning to show that the nutrasweet in diet soda does bad things to your mental status, so you may want to skip this, at least at the volumes of soda (e.g., case/day) some of the pros are using. Stay away from diet soda period. That sh*ts no good for you. If your trying to lean out just stick to distilled water. If your like me and retain to much water sometimes, try popping a couple of dandelion root 8 to 12 hours before you would like to shed the water.
