I love to drink beer. Before I got on I was drinking at the bars nonstop. I can hardly go to sleep without and beer in me. I need a head change and don't smoke dope. My friend got these pills from a overseas order called coladapins (no clue on spelling). I take on and 2 beers and I can sleep fine. Are pills like xanax and loratabs hard on the liver? WHat do you guys do for a head change?

The beer and pills are actually a very good idea. A study in the New England Journal of Medicine ( Kramer et al : Beer and its protective effect on the liver and kidneys through diuresis, NEJM, 159:1114-1120) showed that beer actually protected the liver by helping the kidneys to eliminate toxins. If you ever do a cycle like dianabol (ref-B) be sure to drink plenty of beer. Believe me, your liver will thank you.

Fakingit, I am not saying you are wrong but this goes against everything I have ever heard about beer and the liver. If that study isn't too long would you mind posting it? I would love to see it.

Injectable and pills both get processed. But pills (how do I say this) go thru a diffrent state when being broken down by the liver. I have no clue about the beer thing. Just about anything you put in your body passed its way by the liver.

I would love to see that article...this is what i know (biochem major) - as the liver is used to detoxify the body (Smooth ER if memory serves correctly), alcohol is a tax on both the kidneys (filtering/purification) and the liver (detoxification). Pills are harder on the liver than are injectables (the path which a pill takes in the breakdown and absorption is harder on the liver). There is alot of literature which supports the fact that minimal alcohol (i.e. 1-2 drinks) is good for the body (blood thinner, etc, etc), but i could not imagine anything more than 6 or 7 beers/drinks as being anything other than a heavier burden on your liver and body in general. When i started my cycle, i cut down alcohol consumption from an average of 10 drinks/4 days a week to just a few beers a couple of days a week - both for weight reduction reasons as well as for ease on the body.

Hey, FakingIt! Shut the fuck up! You don't even know what the fuck kind of drug oubeta is taking, he's not even sure, sounds like some kind of benzo or barbiturate, and you're telling him it's a great idea to mix it with booze.

You ever hear of Karen Ann Quinlan? Man, this kind of irresponsible newbie bullshit really pisses me off!!!!

What you have I belive are Klonopin, used to treat anxiety disorder. This should not be mixed with beer and do not take more than 2 a day, they will have an effect that will make you do very risky things. I wouldn't give a dead dog klinopin, I just had a bad experince that lead to me being put behind bars and giving up all alchol for good.

Oh, fuck, Jim! Are you kidding me? Coladapins! As in Pina coladapins? Ha ha! Now I'm laughing!!!

FakingIt's still a jerk, though.

LMAO

I will never believe that beer protects the liver. Simply because i know people who distroyed their liver because of the beer.
Even if there exists an article saying it does protect the liver, no way i still don't believe it.
And then we all start drinking beer and then next year an article comes up saying "he we where wrong". No thanks

Don't you just love it when people come up with some crazy BS and don't even back it up. Go away Faking it. You are giving people bad advice unless you have that article for proof. Everything I have ever read says beer is bad for your liver. I thought that was pretty much common sense these days. Either back up your statement or shut the f*ck up!
