Monday I was so sore I injected into my glute at an angle. I don't know if I hit muscle or not. It felt like the gear was going in easier than normal. It bled like a stuck pig. Today I was injecting in the same glute and everytime I aspirated I got blood I stuck my self 3 times before switching to the left glute. I ran out of 1.5in so I had to use a 1 incher. It went in fine. Is there a pool of blood in my ass or something??Why am I getting dark blood? What do you guys do when you get blood in the syringe? shoot it back in??thanks guys ------------------     | ||

It does sound like you got a nice pool going there. Next thing is abscess (sp). Try to stay away from that spot for a few days until the pool subsides. Try to get as much blood out of the pin then just inject the rest. It was in there to start with. Dark blood usually means 3 things. Low oxygen in it. Or infection (or something not susposed to be there) Ever pop a boil. That blood is extremely dark. Or iron level, not sure if too much or not enough. That one I can't remember. |
