I made the mistake of drinking four beers on the third day of my cycle while on D-bol. Well, by the fourth day my kidneys didn't like me to well. I'm currently in the sixth week of this cycele: Week 1-5: 6 d-bol, 500mg Sus, 300mg Deca When will it be ok to have a coulple of beers without pissing off my kidneys (or my liver for that matter)?

4 beers aren't gonna kill you. Just make sure you take 1000mg/day of milk thistle to help your liver.

4 beers? To me thats not many at all.Sounds like your kidneys were on the threshold of toxicity any way. It was bound to hurt soon. However, i would stay away from all and any alcohol and drink concentrated cran juice. [This message has been edited by Twisted91 (edited September 14, 2000).]

Part of the problem may be the type of beer you drank. Beers vary quite a bit depending on the method of preparation. Were you drinking pilsners? A recent study in the Journal of the American Medical Association found a pilsner beer had a stronger protective effect on the liver then milk thistle (Costanza, Bennes et all : L glutathione sparing properties of pilsner beers exceeds that of milk thistle, JAMA, 123 : 576-764, 1998). Especially if you are taking dianabol be sure to drink more beers. The liver is one of the main detoxifying systems in the body. If the kidneys excrete more poisons it means less work for the liver. By increase the excretion through the kidneys you will actually help your liver. So I think the problem was NOT ENOUGH beer. Double that amount and I think you will be fine.

Yeah more beer!! Just kidding. I occasionally have a few beers during my cycle. Usually I will go out once per weekend and drink at least 4 to 6 beers. I don't understand why you would have any problems with 4 beers, especially on the third day of the cycle. Dbol doesn't start to really hurt the liver until it has been a while (couple weeks maybe). That is why some people advocate strong drugs like dbol and short cycles. Keeping the cycle short prevents you from hurting your liver too much. So what I am trying to say is your liver shouldn't have even been affected by the third day even with the beers. Something is not right here. Fakingit, I am not saying you are wrong but this goes against everything I have ever heard about beer and the liver. If that study isn't too long would you mind posting it? I would love to see it. I am sure others would too.

Bro, I wouldn't worry about it...It could cause you problems, but you never know...When I am on d-bol I still drink...I know you shouldn't, but I still do and I drink way more than 4 beers....I only drink 2 maybe 3 times a week....Just don't get drunk every night

I figured I'd be alright during the first week of my cycle to drink a couple of beers, but damn was I wrong. My Kidneys hurt like hell the next day. I think I was drinking MGD, which I think is a pilsner. I guess I'll wait another week before I soak up some suds just to be safe. I've been taking about 510mg milk thistle a day and taking craberry extract capsules and haven't had any problems except an occasional pain or throbing in my left kidney. Hopefully I don't have some other problem. Hmmmm. Any other comments? |
